夫人都属于高档中餐店，面向的对象也主要是老外，old city新川粤还是主要面向中国
人。
点了台湾香肠，川北凉粉，干锅鱼，干煸四季豆，老板送了一个葱油饼和两碗很有特色
的蛋花汤。感觉都还不错，尤其川北凉粉的汁，跟以前的很不一样，俺特意问了一下，
原来这个凉菜师傅是从纽约来的，擅长凉菜，而且每种凉菜的汁都不一样，这点很好，
很多餐馆所有的都用同一个汁，吃起来都一个味道。下次试试其他凉菜。
现金付款9折，菜比exton的稍微贵一点，可以理解，因为old city开餐馆成本肯定不低
。也许刚开业的缘故，老板很热情，得知俺们是从chinatown走过去的，就主动提出要

old. we just went to two class sessions and both kids got scared of water.
we stopped going. the teacher-student ratio is too big, 6 to 1. I heard
Aqua Pool in Clairemont has 4 to 1 ratio and the price is a little bit
cheaper. My co-worker's 3 kids go there and they are very satisfied with
the teaching quality. |

但是如果有人为了去所谓old palo alto而买这个房子就有点本末倒置了。old palo
alto的小院子房，硬伤房，并不会受到邻居的尊重，就跟富人瞧不起一个穷邻居一样。
这样还不如去palo alto其他正常的地方买个正常的房子。 |

几年前读的Charla Krupp的How Not to Look Old。 对我有帮助。虽然是０８年出的书
，但多数建议还不过时。我就列几条我还记得的,我觉得有用的 － 供年过四十的女人
参考. 三十多岁的，也可以对照一下，要是反着打扮的话， 估计就容易往四十那儿打
扮了。

Almost all schools are full for 5 days option except those daycare school.
You can look for following non-religious school:
1. Austin montessori school. It is said to have long waiting list. We didn't
tour it because we are not into montessori for our son.
2. Bluebonnet school on cedar park. Great facilities. We just don't like the
3 yrs old teachers. There is another Bluebonnet school in canyon creek.

今天累，风景好，吃爽了。
回来495堵车，家里未接电话处理完，洗洗，困得不行了。没力气写了。怕明天没时间
写，随意写两句，给兄弟姐妹们报个信。鉴于参加活动的众多女孩子的强烈要求，不能

概况：
0， 大家到家时间绝大多数是11：30PM。这次从HOPKINS来了众多的漂亮MM和帅哥，意外，害得大家都只顾说话，走慢了，晕倒。呵呵。

just a reminder , if you come on the weekdays, the border line up should not
be very bad. Normally it takes 3 hours to drive from Seattle to Vancouver. Do
4 years old still sit in car seats? I have seen cars that have seats that
could adjust for kids, you may ask the car rental before arrival.

我估计LZ的OLD SCHOOL指的大概就是 全明星中锋往低位一坐，配个蓝领大前。侧翼配
个明星后卫。尽量少投外线，每个回合落阵地。穿越到现在大概就是：中锋被无限包夹
，各种绕前干扰；侧翼顶多互保。那个年代可没有联防，大部分时候都是一对一，很少
提速攻防（身体素质也可能不允许），更没有内线拉开球场空间这一说。
可以参考前两季的灰熊。低位坐稳了可以进季后赛，然后被吊打 |

有个中国园），皇帝山，城外的瀑布等。但是Old Montreal 其实地方很小没啥好玩的
，除了那个什么纪念法国人的广场我都不记得还有啥了。Montreal最有特色的是夜生活
，脱衣舞场R级广告可以做到大街上。这也是为什么美国年轻人特别喜欢去Montreal。
据说当年白求恩同志临死的时候，念念不忘的是Boulevard Saint-Laurent的灯红酒绿
。
Quebec city反而是游客相对比较少。old quebec 比较大，古迹多、宁静、适合慢慢溜
达散心的地方。可以看看枫丹白露酒店，星型堡垒，等。我个人更喜欢Quebec city。 |
