Indeed, there are many Ph.D. programs that can be closed. The first one on
my list to close would be the Religion program in Columbia university. Why
do we need Ph.D.'s specializing in religion? Leave that area to the rabis
and ministers!

现在准备带我家宝宝到外地看病寻求3rd opinion. 终于跟他的主治医生谈崩了。他们
彻底否定我家宝宝有faod，2nd opinion认为他应该是faod，但是需要进一步测试确诊。
几个月前就问了目前就诊的医院有关宝宝的liver tissue，答复是frozen stored in
paraffin block. 我对这些不懂，也就告诉3rd opinion医院有frozen liver tissue.
这家医院就要了，结果被告知没有。
然后我们联系医院，收到不同的答复：
第一次，什么都没有了。。 就算有也不会给外面。
第二次，有一些没有用完，可是不是frozen的。

urine organic acids (OA) 这个在医院做了，GI医生告诉我们正常啥也看不出来
plasma, acylcarnitine profile (AC): 这个是icu调整血液后谋杀病人为以后打官司
做的准备。
OA 和 AC 这两个我们当时只知道有OA, 而且以为OA是正常的因为GI医生这么说。我们
第一次要全部医疗记录，这两个都没有给。
通过保险做 2nd opinion的时候，2nd opinion医生说没有收到 OA。我们说自己也没有
看到，不过horslen说正常，最后2nd opinion的医生就按照正常来说话了。当然他是清清
楚楚知道怎么回事的，因为他和sch GI 主任认识，不会不问的。
后来我们经过各种八卦才知道有这么两个。而且收到后发现OA其实不正常。也就是被骗
了。。。
我们做3rd opinion的时候，给了OA。结果医生解释说可能是fatty acid disorders,
不过也可能是别的原因。也有道理，呵呵呵。
