1、iPhone上自动下载podcast，还非得连电源，iPad上反而没这个问题
2、经常听完了不自动删除，搞得占空间巨大，而我用的又是最经济实惠的16gb的版本
3、因为上面的原因，搞得我经常是在线听，结果data不够用(2gb)
4、经常有documents and settings文件占盘巨大，无法有效清理。唯一的办法就是装
体积巨大的免费app，把那个空间寄出来
overcast的好处：
1、自动下载、删除没有任何问题，省流量
2、占空间过大可以直接删除，不需要任何的多余步骤
3、iPhone和iPad也可以同步，需要建立一个账号，就是一个email地址和密码而已
4、(然并卵)可以把podcast直接传到手表上，出门跑步不用带手机
提到手表，就必须说两句overcast的watch app。这个app的好处是遥控操作iPhone的
overcast时候，反应速度比用now playing操作自带的podcasts app要快很多，基本没
有延迟。

很适合生活。我买的这个房子，当年只有4k一米，现在也不过6k多。但是生活质量远超
所谓宇宙中心的回龙观天通苑。同样景致和便利性的房子，在北京附近即使完全不考虑
地段，也要3万一平米。
如果说工作机会少，不妨看看周边有多少现代化工厂和企业。也许比不上北京或者加州
，但是比起美国中部的玉米地，完全是发达国家俯视发展中国家。
对了，还有满街美女帅哥。

1.3-day is too tight for this trip. Road safety is a big concern.
2. it is too far and the peak color is hard to catch (usually the forecast
only accurate in one week)
3. Weather may be concern. Snow may be rare but possible. Rain and overcast
is the major issue.
4. If you really want to check the realtime color, go find some online
webcam.

started to run more. A knee injury a couple of weeks ago forced me to stop
running for a while, which made me feel restless and decide to go for a long
ride. I have always wanted to ride to the western end of the beautiful
Illinois Prairie Path and to check out the Fox River trail which connects to
the Prairie Path, so I set out on my hybrid bike to do a 4:30 ride (timed

annual precipitation in Seattle is less than half of that of Boston. Seattle
is overcast most of the time. It almost never rains heavily. Almost no one
here owns an umbrella. Only tourists carry umbrellas. I have lived in
pacific NW for 10 years and never needed one. |

northwest for 11 years and never had a problem. it's overcast and gloomy in
the winter, but not cold. but I can still run 60 miles a week, half of which
is outdoors. I usually ski one day per week. in the spring, I'd go cragging
at Vantage, which is in central Washington and it's in a dry desert. In the
summer, I go climbing or cycling almost every weekend.

飞行日志之一百 航空饭店（F92）
自从上次去玛萨葡萄园吃了一次正式的午餐，今天又去康州吃了一次。
上回说打算和教练试飞一次Evektor轻型运动飞机，结果因恶劣天气被迫取消，那天阵
风35节。接下来感恩节休假，开车去了一趟亚特兰大。回来以后约了11月30日飞，结果
又碰上了IFR的气象条件，小雨，云层是700尺overcast，能见度小于2英里，再次推迟
。没想到这个飞机这么抢手，接下来几个周末只有到12月28日才有空闲。合着整个11月
就飞成一次，如果拖到28日再去，间隔的太长。看到这个周六天气不错，周四就顺手预
定了10点以后的飞机。
通用航空界有个说法，叫一百美元的汉堡。就是飞行员为找个借口开飞机，谎称去吃汉
堡，算下来就得一百多。当然，这是很多年前的说法了。现在飞机租金上去了，汽油这
么贵，飞一次转场一百块肯定是打不住了。以前飞转场，都是来去匆匆，短途的不吃饭
，长的就带点干粮凑合。网上说IJD旁边有个叫Aero Diner的饭店（姑且译作航空饭店
），评价很高，离机场不到半英里。虽然IJD去过6次了，一直没机会去试试。今天没啥
别的事，计划10点多起 |

捞到不少IMC。最爽的就是没什么风，ceiling 700-800，break out就看见跑道。
昨天又飞了一次转场，比周六更爽，2小时结结实实的IFR，完全在云里飞的时间至少半
小时，剩下来的在Overcast云层上面
太阳的时候不是thunderstorm就是icing。我的机场还没有instrument procedure, 就
怕飞得出去飞不回来。
