如果你的particle size够大,用超速离心机可以分离.
如果particle size小于5nm,并且particle所属的固体物质密度比较小,很难分开。我
用120000rpm不能从氯苯中离心出7nm的硅particles.
如果你想根据particle size分离得到单一分布的,我想Field Flow-Fractionation可
以做到,表面只有一种有机分子最好。

particles比如alumina 或者金属什么的,外面包着block polymer形成micelle。我还想

This picture is an excellent visaulization on the puzzle of a single
particle's two-slit interference process:
the order of the dynamic process is:
upper-left --> upper-right --> bottom-left --> bottm right.
Note how a single particle picture is torn apart by wave inteference. BUT!
when you measure it, it should be detected as a whole particle again (all
energy of this particle is supposed to be collapsed as a capsule into the

最近老板要求做single particle tracking。研究的对象是膜蛋白,我自己用Qdot 605
标记了一抗,然后做拿TIRF microscope拍了time lapse video。可以看到结合在细胞
表面上的Qdot-抗体有明显的运动。
正在发愁怎么分析这些数据,我想要得到这些particle在细胞膜上运动的trajectory,
然后根据它分析运动的类型和速率。在网上看到一些信息说ImageJ可以用来做particle
tracking。然后找了教程,自己试着生成trajectory,但是发现得不到任何结果。想
问问谁有类似的经验,ImageJ有什么窍门没有。另外有没有别的常用软件可以做这种分
析。多谢帮助!

我看了那么多天新闻,有个问题想了很久,请牛人指点。
现在所有人说的对身体无害/有害/死亡都是建立在立即性效应上,就是人体辐射以后马
上出现身体不适或者立即性死亡。但是我怎么觉得,吸入的那些particles才是关键呢
。大家总是笼统的把现在核泄漏量和x-ray还有宇宙背景辐射做比较,可是这个只是比
较外部辐射。但是宇宙辐射还有医学检查辐射都是体外的,只是在拍照的时候对人有影
响,可是如果吸入体内的话,像铯的半衰期30年,如果不排除体外就是一直对soft
tissue会有影响,引起基因突变和癌变。这个影响是深远的。现在美国已经检测到了空
气中的particles(http://www.insidebayarea.com/top-stories/ci_17637607)。在toproof能测到,那我们人也有很大的概率可以吸进去。这个对人的身体的危害虽然不是急性的,但是潜在的危险却大的多。
为什么大家对这些都只字不提呢。总是比较和x-ray什么的。又有什么意思呢?还是我
想多了。
对日本这个事情高度关注,所以有很多疑问,希望能有牛人出来解惑。我也希望是我想
多了。

Could anybody do me a favor? I am confused by the definition of
polydispersity index(PDI) of particles.
from light scattering, I got PDI value sth like 0.04, however, I know there
is another definition of PDI which is larger than 1, which is defined as:
PDI= Dw/Dn
so how can I get PDI like 0.0 sth ?

现在作monodisperse PLGA
particle的方法都是什么?普通的solution-precipitation的方法很不可靠。Spray
drier太贵,且分布宽。超声的方法最小也只能做到20 um.
另外要得到5 um的particle怎么分级比较好,用过滤的方法效率很低,离心也不好

最近在做一个particle size 分析,不知道该怎么进行了,请教这里的专家。。。
我用的是Marlven HPPS分析,要测一个PS衍生物,试了不同的溶剂,总是不能得到稳定
的结果。
能试到溶解最好的溶剂还能看到有很小的颗粒悬浮,反复试了很多次,经常出现2-3个
峰,位置也不同。
我的问题是:
如果重复性不好,是不是问题在溶剂上?如果是很好的溶剂,是不是看不到悬浮的小颗
粒?
不知道单个分子有多大,如果这个高分子衍生物很大的话,有没有可能肉眼看到单个分
子链团?
如果问题不在溶剂上,有没有可能是这种分析仪器不适合高分子长链结构,所有导致重
复性不好?
除此外,那种技术更适用于高分子particle size 分析?
可能都是很傻的问题,我没有太多这方面背景,请大家帮忙拉。。

很不幸,对于arc-MWNT,这些graphitic particle几乎是不可能弄掉的 - 因为他们本
质上就是很短的MWNT,也有多层,而且在arc里出来的东西表面缺陷少,很硬骨头的。
唯一的希望就是选择性的溶解或者之后的色谱分离;曾经有人用PPV(参见那个爱尔兰
组在1998左右在Adv Mater上的文章)简单的超声分离,号称MWNT(就是arc做的)能选
择性地被悬浮,谁知道实际效果如何呢。
这么麻烦;现在CVD-MWNT便宜得要命,还干净得很,顶多有点金属,除金属比除
graphitic particle容易多了。还是别折腾arc-MWNT,买点CVD-MWNT算了。
你要做functionalization,CVD-MWNT也是要容易得多。

侠有破解版的,或者是可以拷贝的。
顺便问一下用于live cell imaging, particle tracking analysis除了这个matamorph
还有很不好用的image J, 还有别的软件可以用的么?
