我家住这一代，蛮喜欢的，环境很好，附近也有房屋出租，但是呢价钱可能会贵些，具
体多少钱我也不太清楚，估计普通的apartment也要1000这样吧（我是听说的）。
Montclair 比较Multi-cultural, Bloomfield Ave上全是餐馆，各国风味很齐全。
Church Street还有很多稀奇古怪很有特色的小店。Verona环境也很好，有一个很漂亮的
公园，当地居民是白人为主，看他们的生活很悠闲自得，不过据说房租比Montclair贵
。West Caldwell,也不错，环境跟Verona差不多。这几个town 交通很便利，去中国超
市也不远，附近有金门、天天、鑫鑫超市。去纽约的话，可以搭乘Decamp Bus 33 或
66 号车，非常方便，不过最近票价涨了...，这几个地方去Willowbrook Mall
shopping也很近。
PS: 你可以去这些town的中餐馆打听一下租房的事情，有时候会有出租广告张贴在店里

lower, all towns north to Newark could be considered.)
I am clean, quite, no smoking, no drinking, no girl friend yet.
I hope the studio is in a safe and quite community.
I hope the studio has bath/shower, kitchen, fridge/freezer, stove, A/C,
heating and parking lot. (I prefer it has laundry.)
Internet connection is required.
I hope the cost could be no more than $700 per month totally.

Also, you are right off I-287, you can try going to Parsippany for Chinese
restaurants.
Paterson is probably more known for its crime rate instead of Chinese

智利——
consultate在联合国plaza里，不在联合国本部的campus，而是在48街和第一大道交口
的那个高层。直接去就可以不用预约，注意他们visa办公的时间是11am-1pm。
准备的材料：
护照，绿卡或visa，银行statement，employment letter，宾馆和机票预定，自己写的
行程，我们还准备了marriage certificate(因为宾馆预定只写了一个人的名字），工
资单，一人＄51bank check（不收信用卡和现金）单次入境。
交上去很快就被叫到去面谈，然后就过了，但不能当天取，需要在某指定的日子和时间
回去领签证，领签证当天在那里等了一小时左右拿到。
秘鲁——
领完智利签证就赶紧跑回到NJ，NJ Peru consulate在paterson的TD Bank大楼12层。不
用预约，准备的材料也和智利差不多，只不过多了一个警察局的无罪证明（网站上没有
写，但是我看有的领事馆要求这个材料了，办起来也不费事，就是跑到所在地的警察局

Ian Paterson 今年59岁，行医问诊20多年，做过几千台手术，其中大多是救治癌
症的乳房切除手术。
这样一个本该受人尊敬的医生，如今却身陷最高法院，
面对他的，是曾在他手术刀下350名女性病人的控诉，和多达近20项伤害指控。
他行医生涯所做的这几千台乳房切除手术中，有很大一部分，是完全没有必要做的

到周五的9点（还是9点半）到十二点半之间去。
于是过了几天请了半天假又过去。前台接受材料的人员非常热情，整理好我们的材料后
还特意给我们分发了各种秘鲁旅游brochure，我们就志在必得的等着走个过场就能直接
拿到签证。后来Mod 6 的一个大妈VO受理了我们的case，认真地看了半天我们的申请材
料，还问我们要employment letter，我说你网页上也没说要这个呀，那我给你看我的
pay stub吧。大妈就认真看了pay stub，然后让我们出去坐着等一会儿，她自己拿着我
们的材料跑到另外一边的office去了。过了一会儿出来跟我们说抱歉，你们的申请没有

这对民主党无疑是一个重大的打击，
但对克林顿呢？情况就比较复杂一些。
首先，Spitzer州长是endorse克林顿的，
但是，这个endorsement是在克林顿高调访问了州府寻求他的支持后才发生的，
而且众所周知，Spitzer州长的志向远大，
司法部长、副总统、乃至总统都是他的目标，

The blacks there look like immigrants from South America, they look quite
different (though not physically, but culturally) from blacks in Newark.

我在这个学校呆了3个学期外加2次暑期班，感觉还不错，当时英文不好，我是从ESL开
始学起的，在这个学校学了蛮多东西，交了几个比较要好的朋友。我没有毕业，就直接
转到MSU了，省了不少时间。
-学费便宜，不收out of county fee,全NJ的学生去念都一样的价格。

PATERSON — A vehicle apparently pulled up at Route 20 gas station Sunday
afternoon, dropped off a man later found to be dead, and then drove away, a
police spokesman said.

LZ 也算好意。 当然60%也为了出口恶气。因为， 实话说，大家到paramus是不用注意
这个安全的。
在新泽西，只要别去Newark, Trenton, Paterson, Camden and parts of Oranges 就
可以了。那些是要切切牢记的。
其他的， 没必要特别注意的。 你可以随时随地注意， 那是personal choice. 但是，
Paramus NJ 不值得特别注意的。 特别注意得不尝失。
出口恶气， 那是另外一回事。 |
