油公司的划分一般是这样，先是两大块：
earth science和engineering
在earth science干活的一般叫做earth scientist，在engineering干活的一般就是
petroleum engineer。
earth science的重点是exploration，就是找油，同时也对成熟油田的开发提供地质和
地球物理方面的支持。earth science里面的主要职位是geologist,geophysicist，就
是地质和地球物理两大块。
engineering主要负责油田的开发，重点在production和development。petroleum
engineer是一个非常笼统的称呼，一般可以分为drilling engineer,production
engineer,completion engineer和reservoir engineer几个职位。
再说到petrophysicist，主要是做log和core分析的，很多公司是放在earth science里
