本人正在看Eb1b的申请AAO申请判例。看到很多IO都以“审稿是rountine work，不能作
为证明作者审核他人文章的经历是outstanding的证据”。
本人目前为止审了13～14篇文章，IF1.5~4。 IF不高是因为本专业里面就没有很高的
journal，除了一个nature photonics，是不是一定得审核一个nature photonics的文
章，才能证明自己的审稿经历是outstanding的啊？

发帖数: 566 | 12 本人做的是silicon photonics 方向, EE PhD，专门设计模拟测量silicon photonics
devices.
去年7月份开始在这个startup工作，今天被告知公司已经将近1年没有新客户，funding眼
看快用完，只能缩编。自己因为刚来不到一年，还没有到了non-replacable的程度
，所以不幸被选中裁掉。公司考虑到我过去的贡献，答应让我3个星期以后再走。这样
我可以有更多时间找工作。
自己本月21日正式离职。由于是opt期间，所以即使考虑上可能的stem延期（initial
review阶段），也只有140天找工作。考虑到找工作过程中各种interview之类的会很花
时间，担心到时候不能完全搞定。所以想借eb1a 485 pending延长留在美国的时间。具
体做法是
1，我有师兄在一美国大学当教授，想请他开个空头的博士后offer letter，专门用来
递交eb1a 485用，我实际上不会去他那里。
2，然后拿这个 offer letter找律师，请帮着办eb1a。我目前paper： conference +

照理说我的research field 最贴切的应该是 photonics and optics，optical fiber
technology； 说成是optical engineering也可以；
但是，我个人的electronics design (做电路设计，ARM，MCU，FPGA等板子，硬件编程
)也不弱，很大可能也能找到 electronics design / hardware design的工作。
现在问题来了，我的eb1a的 research field or General Field 不知该怎么报给律师？
如果写成 photonics and optics，optical fiber technology；写这个不知以后找到
electronics design的工作会不会有问题。 |

我们实验室一个网络打印机，是HP LaserJet 1200 series的。我们通过一个Standard
IP/TCP port与它连接。现在不能打印。连在那台打印机的所有机器上都不能打印，好像
文件总是传不过去。比如有一个1M的文件，总是显示几百个字节传过去就停下了，然后等
了很长时间，弹出一个对话框，说打印出错。
这是什么原因呀？我们猜可能是打印机的memory有问题了，不能自动清空？网络好像没有

不要让闫连山成为美国公民，这封信把我们的离婚原因，以及从何时拒付小孩抚养费，
拒付律师费，拒付小孩医疗费说了个清清楚楚。不知我可不可以传真给您，还有 说到
美国政府，我更是一肚子的委屈，我于2004 年收到法院判决书，说让闫连山付472 元
