今天的第一站是dole 植物园，产菠萝的好地方。而且还有一个大迷宫可以走。我们两
个懒虫到的时候，已经快正午了。太阳下走迷宫，呵呵，咱还是吃冰激凌去吧。我手里
捧着一个大菠萝冰激凌杯，LG居然说这黄黄的一堆象坨屎。恶人，他吃得可比我欢畅多
了。我们坐了个小火车逛菠萝园，很合我们懒人的一贯做风。☺☺
本来打算在Wailea beach 看看专业surfing的。近来风平浪静的，就干脆直奔了Kahulu
的Shrimp Truck 。这个Kahulu 老sugar mill 前Famous Shrimp Truck 声名远扬，厨
子象是勤劳的韩国大妈。11刀10来只虾，做得有滋有味的。几把阳伞撑在路边的小山包
上，啃着大虾，吹着凉风，不错，不错，太不错了。☺☺☺
下午定了Polynesian Cultural Center， 跟深圳的民俗村差不多。表演却是大大不及
。唯一可提的是Samoa族的钻木取火和上树摘椰子的表演。Host 十分搞笑，媚眼也抛得
极有水平。 |

天气真是多变，来复活节岛的时候天是晴的，仿佛欢迎我们到访；而飞走那天风雨交加
，天气变得很糟糕，仿佛老天不愿意我们离开，发了点小脾气。这里的天气就是这样，
风雨莫测，再准确的天气预报到这里也失灵。风吹云动，阳光伴雨，晚霞彩虹，各样的
天像，各样的地貌，让这个小岛愈发神奇。
而这个小岛的历史就和它的天气一般，变化无常，风雨交加，充满了动荡。
注：平日我最头疼的科目就是历史。而LD恰恰相反，凡是和历史沾边的东西他都爱看。
所以，从飞机上开始，每到一个地方他就收集一个地方的旅游资料，从头看到尾，孜孜
不倦，乐此不疲。然后到了景点就滔滔不绝的教育我。所以，我的游记大部分都是来自
LD的二手资料。
最初的原著民推测是公元400-800年，从其他Polynesian Islands(波利尼西亚岛屿)划
船过来的。茫茫大洋之中找到这么一个孤僻的小岛，简直是奇迹。所以后来，小岛的孤
僻性也成了影响到上居民文化的重要因素。一开始来的原著民带来了各种植物和动物（

就是列一下行程和开销。
因为是蜜月，安排的比较轻松，主要是玩的开心，小地方上也没有太过在意价格，毕竟
就这么一次。
先说大岛：
我们住在Hilo Seaside Hotel，距离Hilo机场很近，位于大岛的东面。在大岛一共呆了
两个白天。
第一天是Lava Tree + 火山公园。白天先去了一次公园，看到了“冒烟”的火山，然后
下午看了各种crater，Sea Arch，黑沙滩，然后等晚上再次返回火山公园，看到了红彤
彤的山口。
几个小遗憾：1）原本预定了Lava Boat Tour，结果出发前一天收到通知，说lava太
weak，都只在地下，所以没有办法看到了，boat被取消。直升机只有白天看，而且我和
LD都胆子小，没敢去；2）租的车不是四轮驱动，没法直接开到绿沙滩，徒步有点远，
时间上来不及，只好放弃
第二天主要就是在大岛东面。看了一个Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden还不错，各
种植物挺新奇，garden一边临海，风景大好。之后沿着东面的海岸线一路往北开，路上

讲个跑题的，daigaku在可能会比较有共鸣：
你说的这个“台语”在语言学上非常重要，它是整个Austronesian语族
的祖先（Geoffrey Chambers et al），从某个方面讲，这个孤证支持
了这么一个假设：台湾原住民是整个Polynesian expansion的源头。
这个Polynesian扩张可是人类历史上比较有意思的一件事情，最东扩张
到比如说夏威夷（复活节岛可能知道的人不多），最西呢则是非洲大岛
马达加斯加。在为这一段缺少文字记载的历史做复原的时候除了人种学
上的基因水平的证据以外，语言学上的证据也同样非常有意思。

老大的胆子在同龄中算中等，不是特别胆大也不是特别胆小。老二的胆子在同龄中算是
偏胆小的。老大很喜欢princess, 老二最近两三个月开始明白什么是princess,在姐姐
的熏陶下可以辨识绝大部分的princess, 还认识micky和minnie。
这次我们住的是Disney里的port orleans riverside, 12月3-10号去的算淡季，有free
dining plan的promotion.
Disney resort:
这个port orleans riverside在Disney算是中档resort, 但不得不说光看房间是完全不
值，基本是2-2.5星的水平，但是除了房间，别的都不错，landscape很漂亮，一般3星

maui revealed。不过如果你不想赶得太紧，玩一个oahu岛就可以了。玩的就是沙滩，
snorkeling，polynesian cultural center看表演，吃日本餐等等。。。 |

本周五到周日，Maui一天，Oahu两天。
Maui主要去Hana Drive。
Oahu是第二次去，已经去过的景点有：

. Pearl Harbor
. Paradise Cove
. Diamond Head Sunrise
. Makapuu Beach overlook + Blow Hole
. Lanikai Beach Hike + Overlook
. Polynesian Cultural Cntr
. Pali overlook
这次可去的景点有：
. Paradise Cove Sunset
. Pali overlook (hopefully can see a clear sky once, or is it possible)

发帖数: 1371 | 48 坐AA的飞机从南加5个小时就到了Oahu. 可恶的是5个小时的飞机居然不提供一顿饭，一
定要买，$10一个三明治，太黑了。。。因为飞机晚点， midnight才到Hyatt Regency
at Waikiki. 第二天一早开窗一看。。。
因为有2 for 1的breakfast coupon，决定下楼吃饭， buffet形式的，还不错，更好的
是外面的风景
吃完饭，马上去beach玩，真的非常impressive的美丽，可惜我的摄影技术不佳。
今天的安排是去Polynesian Cultural Center （PCC),因为那里中午才开，我们有一上
午的时间慢慢玩水，然后一路沿beach park玩过去。

发帖数: 1371 | 49 买票的时候有点担心不知coupon会不会有问题，不过事实证明担心是多余的。买的就是
admission+晚上Horizon show的combo, 用buy 1 get 1 free coupon 省了$43.
天气变得很快，昨晚到的时候已经midnight了还是有点热，刚才路上有一会已经下雨了
，风吹来还有点冷呢，这会又晴了。
PCC 里独特的屋顶
这里主要是介绍这几个主要Polynesian Triangle 里的tribe 的文化
我们到的有点晚，刚转了转，独木舟表演就开始了，在河两边各有一个看台，已经坐满
了，但其他地方也看得到。一个个tribe 轮流上场做表演：
看看人家的草裙舞，这幅度。。。
所有的表演者都很投入，兴致很高，看的人也不由自主的投入起来。
Samoa以火著称， 这个是他们部落村里的cooking表演，这个就是PCC的No.1 Star, Tap
. 晚上的Horizon show 还有他的火舞。 他很幽默，cooking表演包括钻木取火，引火
，摘椰子，开椰子，做椰奶椰蓉也很有趣，绝对推荐。旁边还有一些木头供游客练习取
火， 我们只弄得冒烟而已也觉得很amaz |
