It is a set of 4 NIZN AA batteries with a matching one hour quick charger +
and another 8 pack of NIZN AA batteries.
These batteries are 1.6V which allows a lot of devices that the rechargeable
NIMH batteries don't have enough voltage to work properly. Some digital
cameras being one device.
