发帖数: 50 | 2 整个怀孕过程还算顺利，最好的是没有孕吐，最不好的是20周糖耐没过。从此每周见两
次Dietician， 多了无数appointments。个人觉得美国的营养师对我没什么帮助，他们
建议吃的东西我平时都不吃，就算吃了，血糖还是高。对我个人而言white flour最增
加血糖，其次是white rice和高糖水果等等。一直靠Glyburide控制。宝宝比例从一开
始82%，一路74%降到61%。最后两个月宝宝猛长，比例一下子增加到92%。整个孕期体重
增加27磅，宝宝出生10磅，不知可不可以算是皮薄馅多：-）
对于生产，Child birth and labor class 很有用。可以学习呼吸法，喂奶，给宝宝洗
澡以及装car seat等等。学习很多英文的专业名词，用于和OB交流。发动的那天是40周
1天，也就是41周的第一天。预产期那天以为羊水破了，去了医院，可惜是false alarm
。然后就逛mall走路，晚上9点左右有不规律宫缩。到了半夜，宫缩开始规律化，就像
痛经。个人经验宫缩的时候数数很有用，因为宫缩基本就1分钟。泡在热水浴缸里也很

我们现已在休斯顿，刚刚从Victoria回来，喜忧参半。
这段时间我们做了大量的research，国内国外，网上网下，我甚至跟英国的朋友去见他
的医生咨询这种疗法在欧洲的情况。我哥也通过朋友亲自跟这个practitioner电话沟通
，最后决定推掉一切事务一起过来。喜的是我们看到了希望，也长了见识。去的时候好
多人在等，小聊了一下，有周边的，也有奥斯汀和休斯顿过来的，还有个很年轻的姑娘
抱着baby和一大推婴儿用品来查过敏源。德州人民很热情，给我们很多信息，很是感谢
。检查比较顺利，这个practitioner（他纠正我们不要称他医生）懂的相当多，也相当
有个性，检查手段非常厉害，不得不服。但以孩子目前的情况和用药历史，要能完全控
制病情，我们至少得在美待仨月，期间每周检查一次，调整饮食和supplement，这对我
们很难。。。
anyway，我们不后悔过来，谢谢留言和私信的朋友。 |

time I have been reading on the MIT bbs, for the occasions I
met Waichi and Para and other practitioners, I do not see
any reason that composes a theory conflict to what I have
learned about Buddhism.

牛年真的是很吉利! 我先生终于录取了top 10 CRNA! 简单的说一下他的经历， 希望
能对xdjm有所帮助。他本科是文科，没有任何nursing background. 他这三年走的
每一步都是为上CRNA。2005年录取了Graduate-Entry MSN program， Adult Nurse
Practitioner专业, 2006年拿了RN之后只找了ICU。虽然没有任何nursing工作经验，
他找到了一家level-one trauma医院的ICU。所以他MSN最后两年一边full-time在ICU上

发帖数: 27 | 34 首先这个邀请来得比较奇怪，是个医学院而不是商学院。不过芝加哥地方很好，所以偶就
很花了不少时间去熟悉一下它。于是怀着必胜的信心踏上了征途。
经过和其它学校也没有什么不同，半个小时到45分钟一个鬼子。有趣的是其中既有教授，
又有Practitioner，因为偶将来的工作时间有一部分要贡献给他们的。然后在中午作了一
个Presentation。吃过饭后，继续战斗。不过到了三四点钟的时候，偶的困意袭来，偶有
几次觉得要Fall in sleep。还好立马来了一个Site tour，清醒了一下。最后和Chair谈
，适当地Persuade人尽快作出决定。
战斗中，偶尽可能地遵照了以下战斗原则以化敌为友：
1． 敌人说的话基本上都是正确的，敌人感兴趣的东西也基本上是偶感兴趣的。
2． 敌人毕业的学校都是好学校，at least在某方面是有特长的。
3． 既然有两类敌人，那么就要有不同的策略，教授对抽烟喝酒感兴趣，偶就陪抽陪喝，
当然最重要的是让敌人觉得偶家里有巨多的窖藏；对Practitioner偶就和他们讲故事。
4． 敌人擅长的东西让敌人去说，偶从旁助攻，敌人不懂的东西我们就主攻。

clinical nurse specialist, nurse anesthetists等等）一样同属于mid-level
practitioner。顾名思义，其工作介于真正的MD和registered Nurse之间。PA的工作环
境可以有很多，比如医院的急症室或各科，社区健康证所，医生办公室，以及HMO。
本来没有PA这个职业，在上世纪六十年代的时候因为primary care医生短缺才问世。之
后蓬勃发展，截至2005年，全美有136个accredited PA education program，包括函授
本科硕士各个不同的level。也只有这些program的学生才有资格参加PA national
certifying exam。每六年要重新被certify，每两年要挣够100 CME hours。在所有州
PA都可以practice，在除了indiana以外的州PA都有开处方的权力。
