The card works well with some wifi router but disconnects every 3-5 minutes
in my campus.
Look like it's a common problem in different hardware environments.

After I upgraded from XP to Win 7, it got overheating problem, and the fan
is running all the time.
What problems does it have? Do I have to go back XP?

I checked the security of my app directory(s), all of them
were alright.
Finally I created a new dir under wwwroot, and copied everything
from the old dir to the new one, the problem disappeared... hehe.
I guess, it might be caused by winzip, coz i extracted my asp application

The IP address is not from my Router after it was set up by DHCP. It is 169.
254.xxx.xxx, but my router setting is 192.168.xxx.xxx. The signal from the router is strong enough. I set it up from the setup wizard. I changed the channel several times, no help.
Anyone has the same problem? |

or NONE, neither worked.
I googled, and it seems Verizon DSL with Westell 327W Modem does has this
problem. However, there is no clear solution I can find so far. Some one
said change to bridge mode, and some one said to open some ports (like 500),
but seems very confusing.
Anyone hints? I believe it is modem problem. |

a class is allowed to have two methods of same signature,
if they have different return types.

same by specification and JVM byte code can have a lot of illegal Java
constructs.
In fact today's best obfuscator utilizes this, for instance, directly write
a compiled byte code to replace Java names with weird illegal characters to prevent

for / partition, if I format it as ext3, live cd installer requires it to be
ext4, however, if i format it as ext4, it says / can't be installed on ext4

i was able to use the udev rules to create a stable node /dev/raid-part-1
for the partition. Use uuid in fstab, i can see the home is mounted on /dev/
raid-part-1.
After resume, a new dev node /dev/sdg1 is created, /dev/raid-part-1 is still
there, df showed /home was still mounted on /dev/raid-part-1. Yet the /home
is not accessible. i tried to remount the /home on /dev/raid-part-1, but
after remount home is still not accessible.

bind a socket ,then listen and connect.
The problem is , after the client side is shutdown, it needs to re-connect.
But after I "closesocket", how can i re-setup this connection ?
My process is "open socket again" ->setsockopt->bind, but the "bind" just
fails and complains that the port is in use. Wierd! I have already shutdown
the socket use "closesocket", there should not be such problem at all...

They are a lot of floating point calculation in the code.
Basically, i am doing an interpolation from a position to the
closest grid point. It is a 1d problem.
The domain is from (-L, L) and N is the number of grid point at a half
domain.
The grid size is dv, where dv = L/N; The grid is cell centered (-0.5
in the code below).
L, dv are declared to be double type and N to be integer type.

more frequent, the other just had this once.
The computer will automatically SUSPEND itself, no telnet, no ftp. Press
Power key on keyboard doesn't wake it up. If it's in suspend-resume mode,
this key should bring it back.
The message on display says "Monitor in power save mode, altivate using PC"
if we press control buttons of the monitor.
The first machine has the problem can not rightly boot up now.

3.type "startx" in cygwin window.
4.xterm window pop out.

m=n=6,000,000, it is a large sparse matrix.
For 1 iteration, I can beat it down to 0.5
minute on my own PC of 2 GHz. I cannot imagine
your matrix be larger. So, the problem is not
to find a parallel library (even parallel, say
10 computers, it can still take 2 hours for
1 iteration, while you need maybe hundreds of
iterations to converge), but to find a better algorithm.
Say, you should use BLAS to do matrix multiplication,
and LAPACK to do least squares |

and y is the result from the previous iteration.
You know, if you want to speed up your code, it is

A^T * y. The LSQR itself is not very time-consuming.

vendor to see if they have firmware updates, so do video card.
I used to have "hang" problem with Win2k, but after the firmware update,
the problem is gone. This is for my machine bought in 98. For new machines,

"status display" of the printer can not work. And if the printer is in energy
