听到王敏昌博士在美国南加州去世的消息，心情非常沉重。
多年前由于到南加州演讲而结识了敏昌夫妇。而且我到洛杉矶来，好几次都是敏昌夫妇
机场接送。他们还带我们去参观了当地的“安.兰德（Ayn Rand）研究所”。我和妻子
都非常欣赏安兰德，她是美国当代最重要的思想家和畅销书作家（1982年去世）。在美
国大众评选的《二十世纪百部最佳英文小说》中，安兰德的兩部代表作获第一名和第二
名，前10名中4本是她的。但由于种种原因，很多华人却不知道安兰德；但毕业于台大
外文系的敏昌夫人秀卿不仅知道，还读过她的名著《Fountainhead》（源泉），很喜欢
。于是我们的谈话越发投机。后来敏昌夫妇还带我们去参观了附近的尼克松总统图书馆
。那里的工作人员对台海两岸的隔阂很了解，看到我们一对来自中国，一对来自台湾，
能够和睦相处，很是惊叹。
那些场面还历历在目。那时的敏昌朝气蓬勃、英俊潇洒，旁边是他贤惠、秀丽的妻子秀
卿。他们夫妇感情深厚，总是出双入对，形影不离，像一对鸳鸯。现在这对鸳鸯被拆散

and MBUS. I ordered one of the $999 ones and am very happy with it. This was
my first AR and first Aimpoint. Took it out for the first time last weekend
and had no issues with 180 rounds. Prior to receiving my gun I emailed back
and forth with their CS guy (his name is Colt), He was very helpful and
always responded to my emails quickly.

发帖数: 956 | 6 看你买东西是喜欢去正规店还是淘宝。
功能上来说PSA的更全，理论上更好。S&W M&P15 Sports 是所谓的阉割版，但是大厂大
公司，质量和售后服务有保证。
如果没经验怕麻烦，就上M&P15 Sports,至少到手一条整枪，立刻可用，零件配合上应
该问题不大，有问题S&W的客服是刚刚的。
如果自己动手能力强，英语扯皮能力过关，心里承受能力不差，那PSA很好。不是说PSA
会有问题，质量其实也很好，但是任何机械的东西都可能出问题，何况PSA可能是多厂
家代工的。
所以两个都好，就看你偏好了。

发帖数: 41 | 13 老爸有前列腺肥大的毛病，已经很多年了。以前体检查PSA都正常。现在他在我这里探
亲，前些日子觉得排尿不畅，我带他去医院检查。期间做了肛门指检，还从尿道口作了
膀胱排空。之后那个大夫让我爸去做blood test，主要是查是不是前列腺有癌变。今天
早上收到护士的通知，说我爸的PSA指数高，让我们follow up。不过我爸现在只有急诊
保险，原计划要到二月份才回国。不知道是不是PSA高就意味着一定是前列腺癌？

我可不可以这样理解您说的意思（连同lmh的所说的）。对于我老爸来说，现在就是吃
西药包括西红柿素,比如您提到的，Flomax (tamsulosin)来减少症状。但是前列腺还是
会慢慢增大的。然后就是每年去查一查PSA值和做前列腺B超/造影，确定没有发展成为
前列腺癌。退一万步说就是有了前列腺癌，这个癌也是发展缓慢的，一般也不一定缩短
寿命。
其实我爷爷也是从60多岁就有冠心病，虽然最后是做了前列腺癌手术之后，术后并发症
去世。但是毕竟是83岁了，所以今天看来也不一定是非要做那个前列腺癌手术的。
另外你说的PSA10 是稳定的低，我才知道原来10是低的呀。老爸在北京301和北医一院
都看过。我们一直以为是高的呢。好像没有医生告诉他现在标准到底是怎么样的。多亏
来这里问问。我们还以为测PSA是为了诊断前列腺增生呢，现在才明白是为了排除前列
腺癌症。原来做穿刺也是为了检查有没有前列腺癌。而前列腺增生本身是很容易确诊的
，只有看看B超和CT再加上这么明显的症状就能确诊了。所以，如果只是要治疗和控制

within the same price range, PSA has MUCH better features and combinations.
Get the FNH made, mid-length, gas cold hammer forged 16" barrel and mid west
industries free floating handguard upper.
price will vary depends on if they have promotion or not. You can also pick
up a geiselle trigger & lower kit from PSA for ~200; if not, just get a mil
spec lower pack for $75
buy a stripped lower from local shop for $100, and that saves you the FFL
fee as well as shipping.

stop the progression of BPH. It doesn't help prostate cancer caused urinary
retention.
As for annual screening, there is no consensus about that. It's fine to do
yearly PSA. Ultrasound or CT? I don't think it's necessary.
I should not say 10 is low according to current cutoff which is 4. But this
mild elevation can be caused by many things (a marker far from specific),

发帖数: 2447 | 24 S&W名气肯定远在PSA之上，后者就是一个规模稍大的作坊店。最近PSA有不少不错的AR
配置的deal，1000以内的平价组合版上兄弟有打出sub MOA的成绩的记录。建议多去他
家网站看看。
Forward assist一般情况下用处不大，因为non combat situation里用不上。但是因为
forward assist是AR的一个标志性设计，很多人希望能keep it进而把没有forward
assist的所谓运动改良版AR称为“阉割版”。

PSA值去年10， 今年还是10. 一个医生建议做前列腺穿刺。我自己看了一下资料说是前
列腺穿刺不推荐。测试的患者往往出现严重的感染，勃起功能障碍和尿失禁。
有些文献说:Prostate cancer tests is more harm than good。
在wikipedia上说，很多老年男性都可能有前列腺癌，但是大多是良性而且增长缓慢。
请懂的人给说说，我父亲的情况有必要现在做前列腺穿刺吗？
还有医生建议做微创手术，我也比较保守。因为微创也是很有损伤的，不一定能治好不
说，做了手术也要靠管子排尿两周。期间可能感染。对患者来说，痛苦还是比较大的。
我个人认为开始吃药控制比较好？ 但是，这样会不会把老爸给耽误了。请懂的人给指

吧（老爸说就是拿着一个仪器在前列腺照的）。诊断说是前列腺增生。这次这个医生说
是去年PSA值是10，今年还是10. 然后就建议去穿刺。其实老爸看了几个医生，只有这
个说去做穿刺。现在的主要问题是老爸总是尿急尿频，他很为之苦恼，想着能有办法给
治好了。现在看来这个是不能根治的。做穿刺是不能诊断出什么的是吧。
听了您的建议。我们就更觉得穿刺是没有必要的了。现在决定先吃药控制。我爷爷（老
爸的父亲）以前也是有前列腺增生，后来查出前列腺癌，在83岁的时候做了前列腺癌症
的手术，然后尿血就去世了。所以，我们还是有些担心老爸的。但是，最近看了文献说
老年男性即使最后发展成为前列腺癌其实也不会再有生之年影响生命因为前列腺癌发展
的很慢。
这样看来吃药控制就是比较好的办法了吧。有没有其他的什么能做到。吃中药不知道怎
样。

stably low, I tend not to go further than ultrasound or CT scan.
For his benign prostate hypertrophy, try Flomax (tamsulosin).
Your grandpa was diagnosed with prostate cancer at that age, it does not
