micro tourneys on the side.
happy hour with double points is good too. they run a few half hour ones for
rush each day, and the routine 11PM-1AM regular hours during weekdays.
but still, for cash game players, using points to get tourney tickets is not
good, it'd hurt your rakeback. |

除了高不可攀的如david chiu, johnny chan等人，和网络无法考证的中国玩家，fcf的
确是俺孤漏寡闻知道的一个另类。
不知道别人，俺耗了3年，只能说属于很平庸的，还在1/2NL, 50NL，micro stake
tournament这样的低级别grind，虽然论战绩，一年下来有个一万，还能的确比那75%的
强。看怎么定义聪明和努力了，但俺觉得总体不行。
看了cardplayer上起码有100个高手的经历，俺以前归纳过，3年似乎真是个坎，3年没
咋的的(不管什么原因)，再给3年也白搭。
经济差，扑克也受很大影响，UIGEA打击也很大，熬到现在的玩家，俺不敢说还有多少
真是fish, donk，长期送钱的角色，谁对谁真有多大的edge。
咱可能打了几手牌，觉得某个玩家很鱼，其实很可能只是盲人摸象而已。俺现在给谁
记笔记，都争取客观一些，而且如果一个玩家有一阵不见了，最新的动态俺也争取及
时更新，大家都在进步。PLO只所以被炒作要流行(其实也没咋的)，其实的确是因为
NLHE这些年给人吃得很透。

1) it can calc way much faster than a human (let him be a pro or you), when
you spend 5 secs to calc odds/EV or even tank for longer, bot can do it in 0
.00001 sec;
2) it can analyze historical data much better/faster than you. you can rely
on your past "experience" or HUD to get some "subjective" ideas of what your
opponent is doing (AND, in X secs?) for bot, it can "remember" millions of

如牛毛，前几年炒作地产，现在大批的SFH便宜得要死，几万就拿下了...这样的地方花
钱住旅馆确实很亏。
同样赌城的AC就差劲很多，象俺是diamond级的时候，也就平时不要钱，周末稍微便宜
些，一年有那么几个周末不要钱而已。
total rewards会员好在Harrahs旗下的赌场遍布全国，所以积分，comp通用。
常去赌场不办个卡，相当于online不要rakeback，你说呢？
反正俺以前去，房间不要钱，再拿些不要钱的礼品卡，礼物什么的，最后用comp
dollars再买堆洗发水什么的，哈哈。 |

you use points. for example, when you use 1800 points (=$9) to play a 9ppl

the idea soon enough.
i don't know, on one hand, i really hate this new rakeback method too, but
on the other hand, only rush can get me fast enough to spend as little time
everyday for the same amount of hands, i.e., 2 rush tables are like 8
regular tables (either FTP or PS), i really don't like jumping between
windows so much (even if my screen can hold them properly), and if we play 8

are desperate. I got 2 trips with free rooms every month nowadays from AC,
even though Saturday is normally not included. I only have played very
little this year with only gold card (lowest level card).
You also get comp $$ by playing too, which can be spent in Casino malls and
buffets. I went 4 times this year, but I have accumulated almost 80$. Free

they gave up and gave it to you for existing accounts.
but nowadays, i heard it's extremely hard.
unless you tell them to close your existing one and re-open a new one, even

我当时觉得这个月几乎是不可能赢利了, 只希望可以报住平局, 同时在downswing 中找
到几个leak 来fix. 几个preflop 3 bet/4 bet 中的致命leak, 我很快就意识到了(虽
然downswing 不全是这些leak 造成的), 也有意fix 了一下.
终于经过艰难爬坡差不多爬上最高坡, 这个月也突破重重困难, 盈利+rakeback, 接近1
千.. 自觉是一个小奇迹..

in in following 2 days,然后在以后5 天里在大幅反弹回10个buyin. 后又第2次探底
到lose $2000 in a single one day!!! (6 buyin in NL100 and $1400 went to
NL200, sigh... will not touch NL200 for a while). 这是我今年最大的downswing

9 月打昏了头，熬了太多的夜，感觉身体不大好，于是把 fulltitl 的钱全提出来了。
洗手不打。
10 月 1 日，熬不住，又存了 80 元进去，10 月 1 日 - 9 日，从 80 打 到 2100。
NL100。
结果沾沾自喜中，自我提升到 NL200 去赚快钱。结果被左右开弓狂抽耳光。NL200 巨
多的 light 3 -bet，不甘心被 push around， 4-bet shove all-in two aggro (HUD
数据明白现实这两个乃所谓的 manic）with AK, 结果两次都撞见 AA， 仰天长叹见了
鬼耶。
两天功夫，2100 变 1000。虽奋力拼搏，却无力回天，感觉明显给 outmatch。无奈只
能 downgrade 回 NL100。没想到祸不单行，会 NL100 后，某段时间内，逢人就撞见
set，不是在 flop，就是 turn，bankroll 迅速向零靠拢。
天幸 10 月 22 日回国，家里木有宽带，无法打牌。

感觉自己打0.5的压力就很大了，玩100的，不是要崩溃了？我不太喜欢太刺激的，也不
想打tournament，或者提高limit，只想稳定地挣钱，目前只发现0.5-1的钱还稍微好挣
点，压力小点，不过还是很累。
不知道大家打牌以什么为目标？为什么要打那么高的，一次下来几百输赢了，太激烈了。
rakeback是什么？我现在都是在ultimatebet上玩，没听说这东西。

几个站点的策略不太一样。FTP特别强掉IT创新。tournament的auto deal negotiation
和rush poker都是不错的创新。PS的community更大，而且和live game联系的更紧。有
非常多的live game satellite。 对于cash game， 如果你是常玩的玩家，其实PS的
rackback是最多。如果能达到supernova，rackback能有51%，如果是supernova elite
， rackback能有83%

i think FTP is stuck with their multiple reward systems, and in conflict
with rakeback. now it hurts big if they change any of them. in the last

those who can't reach black card but are beyond 250 points/day... brilliant,

7-12月有ironman的同学(不管间断否，级别不限)，不要错过。
关键之关键是一定要12月当月打够哪怕是最低级的青铜(bronze)ironman，才有效，否
则哪怕前面5个月(7-11月)每个月都是，也作废。
玄铁：$100/月
黄金：$75/月
白银：$50/月
青铜：$25/月
例如，如果7-12月都是玄铁，共$600。
你哪怕前面都不是，12月一个月打出某个级别，也有当月的份。
明年1月1日开始发放(要clear)，但是这个bonus不伤rakeback，错过很亏很亏。 |

the exact same feelings about swings (yeah, every feeling).
as last month, i started nov. in the right direction, up about $700 ($500
from 50NL + $200 tourney)+rakeback for the first week AND no sweat at all,
for my humble $1K goal, this was way ahead.
then two big punches, fought back and up some next day, then sank again next
day, then up, then down... in a word, never really come back, or down more
up less.

help him, even with swings, $2K/month+rakeback is a very hot record for a
100NL player;
2) i watched some sample coaching materials from 2+2, some stuff is really
made up for "coaching";
3) more importantly, i have a feeling that the whole online player pool is
shrinking big. goes ranks 29th on rakebackpros.com, which is big since FTP

if we watch enough russian/german, sometimes even chinese, short stackers
play online, they all follow a very simple fold/push pre-flop strategy. they
normally buy in for 40BB, and if they're in a hand, all money will go in no
later than the flop. their pushing range is just like lundon said, 88+ or
AT+.
but there's one problem using this strategy in live, VOLUME. online short
stackers normally play 10+ tables and they can show a profit much easier
