utc，隔马路而已。
我家在regents 和nobel的路口，周围都是apt，n多ucsd学生，校车就在nobel和

搬来想要租房的童鞋，如果想知道这些公寓的情况，我也很乐意和你分享我的感受。事
实上，我也在本版发过相关帖子）
经过各种辛苦，终于找到一个合适的房源。是转租的，他们在公寓里已经住了5年
，会把三四百块钱的押金留给我们。我们需要一起去Leasing office做转租登记，我看
过房子，也没有明显的污渍或者什么。当然，日后公寓检查的标准肯定比我们随便一看
要严格得多。

去其他地方也更近便些。
这几家公寓都是一个management，以前那个老太太叫malisa，板上很多人批判过的，说
会赖押金，我没经历过，但是印象也不算太好。
lz可以找找pines of la jolla，la regencia（这个名声也一般），del sol，costa
verde，有钱的话还有regents court，还有稍微远点 international gardens。 |

个月前从Miramar上一家店买的。当时就是打算搬家的时候upgrade所以就随随便便了。
不排除接下来一天清理的时候又找到更多不要的。
现在住在Regents Court （Doyle旁边）。想要的同学们就发给我或在帖子里跟我
confirm吧。
全部免费。自己来拿。明天晚上还没人要的东西都会丢到Regents Court Third Floor
（别人一般把不要的家具放那）
Couch 大概～$５００－６００买的。我们保养的很好。２ ｐｉｅｃｅ ｓｅｔ只想
要其中一个的也可以可是优先给要整套的
Bookcase 不记得了。反正可以用。

最近小弟在寻找暂住之地，希望可以寻租到一个2居室的apt，现在找到一个叫做
Regents Court 的社区 （8465 Regents Road, San Diego, CA 92122），不知道大家
有没有一些经验可以分享。
我的比较理想的是在UTC附近的社区，往Mira Mesa那边上班。希望2居室的价格不超过

逛网得知刚从四川来探亲的唐老先生不幸因车祸去世(希望唐老先生的家人节哀). 说给
父母听, 结果听到了更可怕的事情, 有住在UTC的探亲父母大白天在非人行道区横穿马
路,并说没关系,可以走之类的话.根据我家老人活动范围,估计是横穿NOBEL DR或
REGENTS RD.
我确实也偶尔看到有年青学生横穿NOBEL DR或REGENTS RD的(想必探亲父母也偶尔会看
到) 但这并不意味着没危险. 再说老人相对走得慢, 对车速也容易误判,更容易出事故.
当然,一般探亲父母看不到到这个贴. 但如果你家里有探亲老人的话,还是建议要向他们
强调一些基本的交通规则.在MITBBS上也看到过几次乱穿马路的人吃罚单的贴.
顺便还提一下,老人带小孩过斑马线时,一定要抓住小孩的手. 大概是几个星期前,一位
老人带两个小孩过马路,只牵着小的,结果大的在半途中斜穿.我相信在场的都被吓了一
下(也估计那小孩本人,还有老人和从我右边车道后面上来的开车人吓得不轻).我是一目
了然, 看到那大小孩从斑马线的中间的一步步斜穿,那一刻老人在扭头看牵着的小的,来

3月9日星期天下午，数百多来自南加州各地城市华人团体代表、民选官员及竞选人
、以及华人群众及家属云集南加州位于City of Industry的Pacific Palms Resort，参
加了由加州栋梁基金和参议院少数党领袖共和党参议员夏乐柏 (Bob Huff)及夫人何美

Schuette v. BAMN案高院一锤定音，广大群众却一脸迷茫。对这一判决各色各样的错误
理解不胫而走，有些至今仍在民间流传。
两个月后的今天，高院的硝烟逐渐散尽。 环顾高等教育种族歧视和反种族歧视决斗的
战场，却依然是一片狼藉，鸡毛遍地。
战局如此混乱，实在是因为种族歧视倡导者们有意想把水搅浑。本来独立宣言"All men
are created equal"的建国准则足够清晰明了，宪法第十四修正案“No State shall
… deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the
laws”与种族歧视水火不容。为了蒙骗群众，绕过宪法，种族歧视倡导者们不惜修改事
实，创新逻辑，把丑陋的种族歧视包装成美丽的"Affirmative Action"，将宪法不容种
族歧视的简单事实复杂化，将缩小各族裔高校录取差异的复杂问题混乱化。
