iPhone的ASP是$600+，2009年全年的销售预计大约是25m部。所以iPhone alone
给Apple带来的revenue就是$15 billion以上。
iPhone的margin也很高。你想，iPod Touch卖$199还赚钱呢，iPhone的成本
能比iPod Touch高出多少？iPhone $600+的价钱，margin绝对在50%以上。

service revenue. but I don't think this is the point being argued here.
Here someone said the company should record the 40K into deferred revenue at
y/e. Others said the company should NOT record anything at y/e. I second
the second opinion. Signing a contract does not justify recording the $
amount into deferred revenue.

G/L好。做G/L的一抓一大把，而revenue做的东西则根据你公司的行业差别很大。比如
软件公司成天看contract比较多，consumer product则跟supply chain和cost
accounting更接近。别走什么做会计就是要做JE和closing的误区，其实它是属于除了
AP,AR以外lower bottom of the food chain的。为什么要做个一、二年再跳到其它公
司做G/L呢？G/L做到头了最高也就是个senior manager，而且很琐碎，每个month end
和quarter end都得加班。
另外市场上工资是revenue manager高过G/L的。 |
