Two questions.
1. I will go to Buffalo to apply Canadian visa in the morning of Tuesday in
person. Can I get the visa on same day?
2. The trip will be less than 30 days and I will not apply US visa there.
According to my lawyer, I should be no problem to come back USA by using the
existing H1B approval notice due to the Automatic revalidation. Is that
true?

1. 在600 Ren center first floor lobby 8:30牌的队，先是材料初审，给了两个黄条
子，当天三个窗口只开了一个，队伍前进缓慢~~不用在此交银子。
2. 初审后，拿着材料和黄条子，去11楼面签。其实没有interview，等于就是叫银子，
递材料。
(lobby的姐姐说，我爸不用上11楼，所以就一个人递了我们俩的材料。)

For example, while the first petition is pending, I was not confident about
it at all, because of lawyer's lowsy work.... Can I submit another one,
because I want DIY and I got more new evidence.
Is there any law that forbits me to do that?

收到信后发现，基本就是和正常的RFE一样。
除了几项和本版中很多RFE列出的一样，有一项原来没有见过：
"Submit evidence that you are one of the small percentage who has risen to
the very top of your field of endevor".
本人打算从两方面回复：
1. 让老板和独立推荐人再出几封信， 说明我是one of the small percentage in the
field；
2. 想出示有关文章引用的证据 "some of my papers are in the the small
percentage of most top cited papers in the same topic/journal?" 我有几篇近
年发表的文章都有30+ 的citation. 可能满足5% most top cited papers in the sam |

I think the USCIS people did read my package because they mentioned
something special included in my petition letter. But something weird though.
I did not mention award in my package, but they asked me to clarify it.
they got it from my Resume.
I did not claim membership, but they asked for further evidence for it.
The same story as Laoda555.

sent me any notice about that, I haven't read my petition letters they
should prepare for me yet. I don't even know how they claim for me.
And, now when I read these two cover letters they sent to me later today, I
desperately find they are almost the same, yes, without any highlighting in

them again. I was told that my background hadn't started yet since my
fingerprint expired or lost. I would receive the notice to redo fingerprint
in 60 days.
I can't believed that! I did FP on May 18. FBI told me that my FP had been
transferred to USCIS in 24 hours which has been confirmed by USCIS that they
received my FP on May 21 based on the information they told me last Friday.

Fingerprints clearance and FBI name check are current and visa is available,
however the I 485 was filed 02/06/12 and currently, we are processing
adjudication ready I 485’s which were filed 11/01/11.
Does anyone know if fingerprint clearance the same as background check?
If yes, that means background check is done.
