What Is Schizophrenia?
Schizophrenia is a chronic, severe, and disabling brain disorder that has
affected people throughout history.
People with the disorder may hear voices other people don't hear. They may
believe other people are reading their minds, controlling their thoughts, or

If I remember it correctly, the word "schizophrenia" can be split into two
parts. "Schizo-", and "-phrenia". It liteally means "split mind", and that's
how "schizophrenia" is translated to chinese: "Jin-Shen-Fen-Lie-Zhen".
However, it is not really so.
Here is the diagnostic criteria for Schizophrenia from DSM IV-TR:

或则translational research了。
autism最近发现了几个可能相关基因，所以比较hot，但是离最后的临床实践，恐怕还

假schizophrenia的，原quote已经给了很好的建议，照着做基本上就会回归常态。
真schizophrenia，要去看医生吃药治病。
大家讨论教育方法和手段，一个隐含的前提是教育者是精神思维心理上的正常人。去掉
这个前提，实在就没什么好讨论的。说如果一个schizophrenia幻觉他孩子是GT娃。这
里的问题是在这个schizophrenia上，不是在GT教育上或GT/普通娃上。
实际上大多数家长都多少有点自视自己孩子过高，特别是小娃家长。很多时候这是个正
常甚至正面的心态，只要不过分。但网上还有一种类似但是很负面的心态：自己家孩子
没有straight A，就说straight A的孩子多mental disorder；其他孩子AMC 8考得比自
家孩子好就说他们不正常；自己孩子没测智商没去GT班，就说有病的才去测智商，GT多
疯子。本质上，有这个心态的家长和那些幻觉自己孩子是GT娃的家长一样，只是心理安
慰的方式不一样 - 一些人是幻想自己孩子多好，某些人是幻想别人孩子多有病多疯。

具体而言，因为 verbal logics 能很容易的被 schizophrenia 所 deluded。所以
what if 所有的我用于观察我家两娃的逻辑，无论是 academic performance 还是
mental health, 都仅仅是我这个 schizophrenia 为我自己所创建的 delusion？
（这里的 schizophrenia 指推娃方面的 domain-specific schizophrenia，也就是

而心算 AIME 三角几何题，实际上在人大脑的 visual spatial sketch pad 里，真真
切切的虚构了空间几何体，不仅如此，还对此进行各种属数学操作变形，最终写出解析
式子，不管对错。
但另一方面，这个几何体从来没有在真实世界里存在过，只是一个幻想。尽管这个幻想
真实到哪种数学操作可以进行，哪一种不能进行，像真实空间里的物体那样逻辑分明和
细节完整。但那个只是幻想，不是现实。
如果无法区分幻想现实，就是 schizophrenia。
不过数学和物理专业，确实是 schizophrenia 的高危人群，也是事实啦。

，是因为 delusion 跟 reality 不同的是，delusion 要么是缺乏细节，要么会自相矛
盾。
但如果网上那个 schizophrenia 是 3x psychomotor speed (指 high order 能力)，
那我觉得就很难分辨。因为我们能想到的，那个 schizophrenia 多半先想到了，并且
抢先一步 patch 掉。
这样那个 3x psychomotor speed 的 schizophrenia，de facto 把 delusion 搞成
simulated reality 的高度。

因为搜图以后 schizophrenia 会 alter 其 memory，把假图当成真的，所谓的
cognitive delusion。
即使某张图是假的背揭穿以后，即使 schizophrenia 接受某一张图是假的，但还会找
其他的假图，继续 cognitive delusion。 |

dellusional idea 导致去 3P。
不少 schizophrenia 是在本科年龄 on set 的。
数学系和物理系确实是 schizophrenia 和 asperges 的重灾区。

ASD 是 Autism 的谱系病，schizophrenia 也有谱系病叫做：Schizotypal
personality disorder。而且跟 Asperger 很难区分！！

话说回来，其实 1% 算很常见了，比 USAMO 500 强常见多了去了。有人说见过 USAMO

你说的 low IQ 是 post-onset 后的 IQ，而上面的研究是讨论 pre-onset IQ。
或者直接拿 schizophrenia 做例子好了。John Nash 的诺贝尔论文是 schizophrenia
onset 以前发的，onset 以后连教职都辞了。
