发帖数: 7220 | 4 我其实对13寸series 9长草很久了，没入的原因一个是因为棒子货，还一个就是13寸都
是128G的硬盘，对我来说显然不够。昨天飞机上隔壁一老头用的就是series 9，我瞥到
以后跟他讨论了很久，他显然也很得意自己的电脑，给我又摸又掂的。就这样我终于没
抵制住诱惑，而且研究了半天后知道可以自己换硬盘，256虽然也不够大不过也能将就
了。我立马定了一个mydigitSSD的msata 256
说说series 9的好处，屏幕是matte 1600X900，ASUS prime有1080的屏幕但是我觉得在
13寸屏上900已经是极限了，再大没意义。还有就是轻薄，对我这种经常出门的人2.
55lbs意义重大。最后一个也是重点就是漂亮，黑灰色的一拿出来像剃刀一样锋利，比
air还抢眼，可以极大满足虚荣心呵呵 |

这件事应该一分为二来看。
首先，我很欣赏电影THE PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS 里面那个黑人，半路出家，历经磨
难，靠自己的努力，终于获得成功。如果楼主也是这样的人，成就不在大小，我们
可以感同身受，确实应该向他表示祝贺！
但是问题还是有的，内行人也能看出，楼主文中关于Series 7考试的一些背景介绍
(不是其自身感受部分)是显然夸大其词了的，比如说，
1) “Series 7持照者平均年龄43岁（难度可见，不是刚刚毕业的MBA们立即都能通
过的考试）”，按理说，这个考试是一个入门性质的考试，主要是考证券法规，主
要证券产品和一些基本操作吧，对科班出身的MBA 应该难度不大；而且我觉得报考
人年龄大小这不能说明该考试的难易，如果很多人都是半路出家的，年龄自然就偏
大了。这一点很象保险经纪或者地产经纪考试。
2) “ S7执照是美国证券投资业的必备执照。在美国证券公司中，人人必考的证券
从业资格考试是Series 7（系列7）”。这也不属实。顾名思义，General
Securities Representative Examination， S7 执照一般 |

街上的人哪个不是早上8点到晚上9点，老板给你一天
假准备就是nice了，一般一天都没有，看2个周末而已。大家考的时候都是fresh
graduate
谁也不比谁有经验。
还有2点大家不要理解错了，
1。有了series 7一点都不会给你简历加分。公司不会因为你有了就雇你，没有的考一
个就是了。
2。考了series 7并不是不要考别的， series 7, 63同时考的情况多了去了，根据工作
性质。
一句话，it's not something you need to worry about. 没工作的不需要去考这个，
没用。有的了，不考也得考，公司sponsor

第一步：是一个time-series 的
对每个公司 i，Y(t)=alpha+beta*Y(t-1)+e。 (Y是相当于股票价格之类
的东西)
要求得到beta 对每个 i: beta(i)
第二步：是一个cross-sectional 的
对所有的公司 S(i)=gamma+eta*beta(i)+e'
要求得到ETA
我现在就是用最最简单的OLS把两步算了一下。但是，看到文献中说TIME-SERIES应该
考虑autocorrelation, cross-sectional应该考虑heteroscedasticity |

我最近的一个研究的其中的一个objective需要用self controlled case series study。
用的是claims data，我已经把inclusion and exclusion criteria全部做完了，只剩
下self controlled case series study的model这最后一步我不会做。网上有SAS code
，但是那个是用类似于clinical trial的example，我不懂这种研究的原理，所以不大
会改SAS code。
如果您之前做过的话，应该是个很简单的活儿，两三个小时之内肯定能做完。
