过去没什么不安全的, 欧洲满大街的roundabout不就是这个道理吗. 有车的时候一定要
停. 不过stop sign不停不是什么大事，就是罚个100刀. 连moving violation都不算.
要是超速的话会算成moving violation, 保险会因此涨钱的.
真正危险的是你根本没有注意到stop sign的存在。俺曾经亲眼看到过一辆车把stop
sign当成空气，应该是开车走神了，最后以30mph+的速度t-bone了另外一辆车. |

最近唐骏离开盛大加盟传统行业新花都，媒体爆炒。正如上面新闻所言，唐骏的转会费
高到达是10亿，这个钱虽然是以股票方式给予，但是，小宝估计也是前无古人，后无来
者。打工打到这个份上，跟创业已经没有区别了。多少创业者即使最后把公司都卖了，
也拿不到这个数字，无论在中国还是在海外。
其中，特别提到转会费英文：sign in box。小宝也算每天都在用英文，怎么觉得这个
说法有点怪。google一下，不是小宝不知道这个说法，而是根本没有这个说法。小宝立
马想到是否妓者写错了，应该是signing bonus？因为二者读起来有点像。恰好文中提
到李开复的转会费，小宝记得李开复加盟Google China时，当时英文媒体的说法是给了
他signing bonus $1.5m。再google一把signing bonus，果真如此，这才是最接近中文
“转会费”这个概念的英文说法。

，以为是yeild sign, 快速一溜而过，正好一个警察大爷藏在那，专门捉了我。
我不太记得几年前是具体如何appeal的。
我的建议
1. 态度良好，承认自己没看清sign。 别说是警察大爷犯错误了开了错误的罚单。
2.最后看清stop signs,想停车，可是车速惯性不允许马上停下来，越了线。无辜。
3. 没有前科，守法公民，下次更小心，保证不再犯。
不过， 别完全听我的，你也可以不承认stop signs 没停。 我担心如果我的方法不奏效，你会怪我的。$100大洋，不可承受之重呀！

夜里11点40，开车回家，在一个dark area路上开着，有一stop sign，我停后，然后离
开，在我停之前，就发现后面有一个车（大概离我3，4个车的距离）没有开前灯，当时
就觉得纳闷，也担心，过了stop sign就慢慢开，谁料到开了大概50，60米，那车闪灯
了，原来是警察。
停下以后，警察来了，说我没停Stop sign，我说I stopped，他告诉我，没看到我刹车
灯亮。这才恍然大悟，我中间那个刹车灯是不亮了（朋友刚告诉我没多久，后来隔天去
修才发现3个刹车灯都不亮了，车平时很少开，多是买菜，平时偶尔开一下）。
然后，警察就开了单，闯Stop sign，$124
另外，当时由于紧张，找保险时，我拿了一个也没看清，他问是不是保险，我说是就递
给他了。待警察回来时，告诉我给的保险是过期的（上次的），ticket上是$550，我在
说我有，他也不听了。
ticket后面给了3个选项，1是交钱，2是去解释（？不知道理解对不）3是上庭

。第一次见到Stop Sign是在1998年，那会儿刚拿本儿不久，回想起来觉得长得和美国
的差不多，红底白字写一个“停”字。是在北三环外环方向和平西桥下，化工大学那里
，掉头去三元桥方向车道处，具体就在影协电影院的门口。这是我印象中最早的stop
sign了。有没有人知道更早的？
当时也不是太明白“停”的具体要求，基本上处于视而不见的状态。直到2000年，高中
同学的女友开车经过这个地方，当时我也在车上，没有停住，被警察拦了。被罚了180
元？+2分。当时我们大惑不解，还一个劲的跟警察掰扯呢，说凭什么罚我们，凭什么减
速通过还不行，非得停死？这是我见过最早因为stop sign被罚款的人。有没有人知道
更早的？
现在stop sign多了，比如北二环外环方向积水潭桥，辅路上主路入口处有一个。复兴

我想抗诉，请大家帮我看看理由是否还站得住脚，同时第一次过庭，请大家提醒我在准

抢道依据警察当时说是给我警告的，没想到也到了罚单中。警察主要认为我在右拐弯时
直接拐到垂直道的左边内侧，同时红灯，我没有让左边开来的车。我想回答的是，我承
认车开的有点随意，但这并没有违反交规，同时当时路口没有红灯不能拐弯的警告，所
以，我只需确保我在拐弯时没有影响左边来车的通行即可。很明显，我没有影响到交通
，因为在我拐完后后边来车的空隙大到便衣警车还能拐弯追上我。
stop sign没停死有点麻烦，因为他说有车载录像，他开罚单前看过录像确认我没有停
住就走了。我唯一能argue的是车载录像所测量或反映的只是两车之间的相对距离，他
的车在我的车后边，按照我在stop sign先停，开走，然后他再停开走的常规，两辆车
不太可能同时停住来测量我和stop sign的相对运动。所以他从录像里看到的我在stop

然后大家感情交流一下 先到先走
如果你看到sotp sign没有allway的标志，那你就知道其他路口可能没有stop sign
有可能人家是主路 根本就不用停的 所以这种情况下你的心里预期就不要指望
别人会停下来等你，你要等一个足够大的没有车的空隙过路口 |

；第二种，four way 字样在stop 下面，规则同上（就是十字路口四个方向的路都有
stop sign。第四种，仅仅是个stop。下面什么字样都没有。这种有可能是丁字路，或
者十字路，如果是十字路口，对面的也会有stop sign。但是相邻的两条道没有，你让
别人，否则无论出什么事都是你的full responsibility. 而且任何 辅路上主路，无论

左边车的行驶，所以拐了，并且我拐了后那个便衣警车还有时间跟上，所以我觉得我这

我承认他只需要注意我的车跟stop sign的相对运动，但我提出的ｐｏｉｎｔ是当他的
车是在做减速运动的时候，从他那里看我的车的情况那种主观感觉（录像图像给人的错
觉一样受他的车的运动的影响）并不精确，尤其是这种相对静止非常短的时候。我的结
论是他所看到的我在stop sign处停的时间不准确。如果他看到的是我在stop sign根本
就没有停，那我就很纳闷了。
我在iowa，两年前吃了一张也是stop sign没停的罚单，当时是急着去关家里的火，只
好认了。这次罚得挺重的，不知道是否和那一次有关系，同时看到还有扣点什么的，不

大部分的人几乎视stop sign不存在，越过stop sign之后才慢下来，也只是因为让主路
上的车。另外一小部分人象征性地刹一下车，但没有一个真正停死的。难道Boston警察
就不管这个吗？

的时候，你要判断那个方向的车有没有减速停下来再过去。
就算对方没看到stop sign 看到你转到中间肯定也会减速。

事情，你为了解决一个小的不能再小的问题去制造一个大问题，图个啥。
贷款不要嫌因为信用记录低导致ARP高，没多少钱。
大不了借钱把车买了，不要想co-sign了。我是宁愿借钱给你也不会co-sign的。都到要
买房的份上了，信用记录还那么低？如果买房不是在两年之内，你想那么多干嘛，提升
信用记录的时间还有的是。

保险公司可以查他们是否在执行紧急任务吧？

么应该来说的话，该次的税是按照（pay check+sign on）来算总和的，但是somehow公
司显示的还是分俩笔付给你，而且pay check那笔是只按pay check来算的，那么少扣的
那部分就全算到sign on上了，这就是为什么sign on显示会扣更多比例的原因。
不过像楼上说的一样，等到返税的时候，所有钱其实都是算到总的income里面去，多算
少算，最后该是多少还是多少。 |

times, and the final argument from her is that if we didn't sign the
exclusive buyer agent contract, then she will not get the 3% commission.
I looked over these two document, and notice that offer itself didn't
mention 3% commission, but exclusive buyer agent contract does mention it.

长$75。Parent book里头很小的字ti提到，但是刚开始没注意。现在被罚款了才注意到。
他家的sign-in sign-out就是门边有一个iPod, 然后家长输一个４位的code就可以了。
但是我们原来不是每次都记得。这个确实很容易忘，因为没有人提醒你。上周知道了这
件事，以为会注意了，但是今天早上妈妈送去还是忘了，真的不是故意的。
我觉得这个很不合理啊。怎么可能指望家长每次都记得呢，一次就罚$75，也太狠了。
说是因为州法律会罚这个数，所以转嫁到家长身上。可是如果是这样你应该每次都提醒
我们啊。这种责任不能简单地转嫁到家长头上吧。
你们怎么看？这个规定法律上说得通吗？

I looked back to my emails. Bing sent my a email when I first sign-in bing
account and asked me to complete the account by signing up for a Windows
live ID and providing some info. I should have read this email before I

作努力，每年的review都很好，和我的manager关系处得也不错。
老公毕业了，找到了一家在东部B州的工作，8月份上班。我错误的把我的manager当成
了知心人，提前半年告诉她我想和我老公搬家到B州，想让她帮忙看看我们公司在B州有
没有position，想请她帮忙内部transfer我，她也答应尽力帮我找。她问我什么搬，我
说7月中旬。
众所周知，现在就业市场很差，我们公司在B州没有position available。我也没有着
急，因为我打算骑驴找马，让我老公先到B州，然后我带着宝宝和爸妈（他们从国内来
帮我带宝宝）继续在A州，知道我在B州拿到offer后再搬。我不准备在没有拿到下一个

我的情况：刚刚拿到一个大银行工作written offer letter准备跳槽。在此之前已经口
头上接受了工作。对于薪水没有问题，工作也满意，真心要去了，但是想再谈一下办绿
卡和sign-on bonus。
绿卡：Offer Letter上没有写关于绿卡的事情，只是曾经让猎头知会公司我期待尽快办
（现公司办的几乎一定作废了），似乎一年之内一般都会给办。我想向hiring manager
直接问：1.希望进了公司立刻就办;2.希望能写进offer letter。
问题是：如果经理说他会尽快办，given performance is ok blabla。我是否应该坚持
要写进offer letter。
sign-on bonus: 之前谈薪水的时候没有和猎头沟通过这个。现在offer上没有又有些不
甘。一个原因是几乎一定拿不到现在工作的奖金了--不能也不愿意等个把月拿到钱。在
这个时候问经理sign-on bonus应该怎么处理好？
比如：说我想尽快开始。所以不准备拿现在公司的奖金。然后直接问他对于sign-on
bonus的意见？

车直行,所以我在stop sign停下来让那辆车先走,然后我再左转弯, 转到一半的时候,看
到一辆没有亮灯的车,在小学门口的树下,我就回过头看了2眼,然后自言自语说,哦警察
的车...然后警察的车就马上打闪光灯了,跟上我.我停了车,觉得莫名其妙. 等了很久上
来一个黑人女警察,说我stop sign 没有停.要了我驾照保险直接我给我开罚单....真是
气的发抖,赤裸裸的被冤枉. 10月19号的court, 我刚好那天回国,信封的反面好像显示
disobey stop sign罚款76刀--自己对号入座的,不知道对不对.
求大家出主意: 多谢!!!!
1. 上court的时间刚好是要回中国3个星期, 要打电话推迟上court的时间? 如果上
court, 自己辩护吗 还是要请律师? 我真的觉得咽不下这口气,想去法庭辩护, 听说自
己去法庭上辩护,没有律师的话基本上是输?
3.如果直接把罚单的钱交了,是否会影响今后的保险? 我这是第一次拿这类ticket.

next pitch will surely nail him.
2nd baserunner steals signs from the catcher all the time. Catchers will
certainly change their signs and doing other things (like Varitek changing
glove position last minute last night) to fool the opponents.
I think that's part of the game and don't blame anyone on doing this.
Some hitters won't take the signs from the 2nd baserunner, though, for they
are afraid the message is wrong. |
