1. bimmer不在最多的车之列，颠覆我对bimmer车主的印象啊...
2. MB AMG占了十分之三...看来有钱交ticket和请律师也是敢于违规的重要原因
3. Buick占了最少违规的十分三。但是根据IIHS的驾驶员死亡率统计，Buick的几辆车
都名列前茅。看来老头老太们开再慢，身子骨也受不了哪怕一点小车祸

Extremely well-made car. Minor electronic problems may occur
(like my power window regulator).
I got an 2000 2.0 auto for 20K (with lux package). This
weekend I test drove a Camry Solara (22K) I4 auto. The
Solara used to be my second choice, but now I gave up.
Ok the solara is bigger. The seats are more supportive,
means more comfortable in long rides. Acceleration, well,
the 4 cylinder Camry engine is really whimpy. Not as lively
as the Beetle. Braking of the Solara is, one word, terrible.

最近看的有马六，雅阁，思域，solara。能帮着分析下这几个车的指标？比如油耗，保
险，修车的费用和车的质量寿命？？？
朋友建议买思域，但我看solara特漂亮，价格和思域也差不多，但solara是不是质量不
好或修理费用高，或者油耗很大？？？保险也高？？？
实在是对车不了解，提的问题也杂又多，希望好心的大能帮着回答下。谢谢了，最主要

先声明我不是任何粉，也不是车托，就事论事。
更新一下，刹车可能也有问题，夏天去换水泵时候检查过刹车片，说之前还能用一年，
但是秋天开车进山里旅游，遇到长下坡刹车时候就咯咯的震动，有人说是刹车也不是很
好了，有人说是abs工作的正常现象。
我的车是07年的impala，现在86000迈，买车的时候是2010年，59000迈，我近4年的时
间，开了近3w迈。之前开着一直车况非常好，感觉跟出去玩是租的新车没有明显差距，
但是最近半年开车，车开始频繁的出问题需要换零部件了。
首先是水泵漏冷却液，换了水泵。电池挂了，换了电池
几个月之后，前灯坏了，一次一对都换了。
又几周之后，前转向灯也坏了，也也把一对都换了。雨刷寿命也快到了，也换了一对。
并且原来跑高速，油耗差不多有33-34， 现在也只有28-29了。
这次租车玩回来，再开自己的车，感觉车子变老了的感觉是相当明显，也很难描述到底

最不错。。。
SAAB和Volvo也很不错，就是相对比较贵。
Ford Mustang GT也许不太适合日常生活，尤其是冬季。 |

Power seats, window, steering,
Clean in and out.
I have owned it for 4 years,
It has 173,000 miles on it but still runs smooth.
Mechanic said it has another good 50,000- 70,000 miles if taken care of
properly.
I am selling it only because I am moving out of this country.
I had two accidents with this car, so there is a damage on the front right
corner,
and a den on the rear right corner.

发帖数: 21 | 30 本人最近看上dealer处一辆Toyota的Solara SLE敞篷，年份是2002，自排档，mileage
是84000miles，四轮皆为盘煞。没有事故记录，有三位owner，根据carfax的记录，推
测保养不是很到位，因此dealer把除了引擎，变速箱，刹车之外的部分几乎都换了新的
。试开是感觉加速和减速平稳，没有顿挫感，引擎转速比较平稳，觉得变速箱没有问题
。引擎声音比较均衡，无论是加速还是减速，没有杂音。在高速（70miles），没有发
现车辆有飘的现象，这可能是因为车重较重 3400+磅，敞篷版比普通磅外加了60kg的缘
故。刹车不错，虽然没有测量刹车线，但是可以感觉车辆减速的时候没有左右滑动。由
于是敞篷，而且是软篷，可以在高速（70miles）感到车顶有一些声音，不过不响。转
弯过程顺畅，做了一个危险动作，40miles基本不带刹车直接转弯，朋友吓出一身汗，
感觉车辆左右倾斜也不大，悬挂系统应该也OK。基本试车情况就是这样，至于各种电子
设备，例如车灯检查等等没有进行，感觉还没打定主意就不用浪费时间了。现在dealer

状况：
上周五准备去dealer换油的时候打开hood的盖子，意外地发现那个coolant
reservior已经不知道什么时候完全空了，觉得不妙（开车的时候一直注意温度表，没
有异常）。果然，在dealer换完油，那边人告诉我说radiator的上部漏，需要更换整个
radiator，估价500多刀。于是让其加满coolant，开了回来，打开hood，发现那个病灶
就位于水箱的顶部，那个铝壳由于时间太长发生老化，开了一条长长的缝，车子启动的
时候coolant在压力作用下就从这个缝冒出来，见图。网上google了一下，决定先将这
条缝黏上试试。于是去walmart买了个J-B Weld（据说能耐600F高温，约4000个psi的压
力）给这条缝贴上。第二天将车开出去大概5分钟，check hood，发现完全不管用，
coolant很快就突破了那个纸糊的epoxy防线，疯狂外涌。
现在考虑的Option:
(1) 继续使用其他的方法来堵住这个缝。比如下面链接中那个epoxy（感觉成功可能性

第一辆车买于09年夏，1999 Toyota Camry Solara SE V6，150K miles，Craigslist开
价2700。在一堆五六千的Camry里跳出一个这个价格的，又是V6又是两门，顿时心动，
马上打电话预约第二天看车。
卖车的是个韩国大妈，这车是她儿子开。女儿到其他地方上大学，就把女儿的马思汤给
儿子了。车子外表一塌糊涂，左侧有一道一米长的刮痕，Clear Coat基本掉光，个别地
方还有锈斑。
试驾感觉车子开起来还是挺好的，D档怠速几乎感觉不到引擎抖动，高速上加速很有力
，转向，刹车也没什么问题。唯一的问题就是车子会自己向右偏。当时哥们儿分析说可
能是要做Alignment，也可能只是轮胎问题，可以赌一把。
于是开始还价。我心理价位2500，想说报个2300，然后大家各让200皆大欢喜得了，我
哥们儿说那干脆报2000得了说不定能再杀一点。接着戏剧性的一幕出现了，我说：2000

miles以上,如果引擎或变速箱出现需要rebuild的问题时,就可以直接扔给junkyard了,
豪华车和有感情的除外.junkyard里面因机械故障报废的日车少的原因并不是日车真的
机械故障少,而是日车被众日托哄抬物价,造成二手日车普遍overprice,造成rebuild引
擎或变速箱有利可图,所以才这样.举个例子我们来看Toyota Camry/Solara,去
craigslist上看看,不难搜到很多采用2.2L 5S-FE的Camry或者Solara在卖其中不少2000
年以前的,细节里面说needs engine(都知道这款引擎爱坏),可是开价仍然要1000多甚至
近2000,而这种车如果rebuild engine或者换一个used engine之后就能卖到2000以上甚
至接近3000(看mileage),所以自然有人去干这个事.对同年代的Taurus,如果引擎出现问
题(实际上Taurus的Vulcan引擎出问题的概率比疯田的5S-FE要低不少),则多数免不了进

发帖数: 16625 | 44 事情过去大半年了，2月初湾区680公路有次晚上大堵车，四车连撞，封了两条车道，我
就是其中一个。就在680北向过了Fremont那个大下坡底部。事故很简单，我刚下了那个
5%的坡，当时速度基本不到十迈，后面突然被撞，冲击力巨大，后窗碎玻璃顿时像一盆
水一样泼到前面，我的眼镜也掉了。然后几秒钟镇定了一下，感觉好像身体没有什么异
样，找到眼镜，用脚踹开车门，走到路边。这时候才看到车撞的有多严重，整个后备箱
几乎都撞没了。我开的是一台2000 solara,撞我的是一台F150，我然后撞了一台acura
TL，他又撞了前面一台。我是第一个被撞的，车子被三明治了，其他几台车都可以移动
，然后三台车被拖走。打电话叫了911，911问有人受伤吗，我说我也不确定算有吧，于
是救护车和消防车都来了。警察问我是自己去医院还是救护车送去，我说救护车吧。
然后他们就把我送到了我医疗保险的kaiser.后来我接到账单才发现，这是我坐过的最
贵的taxi，除了医疗费用，他们一个mile收费是26美元。
等911的过程中和几个司机谈话，我前面那台acura是一台便衣警车，便衣说在出来办公

I have owned it for 4 years,
It has 173,000 miles on it but still runs smooth.
