首先说明，这不是利用ssh做tunnel的问题。
在windows2000装mysql的win32版本。另安装cygwin包含sshd服务器。
在本地启动mysql客户端，登陆数据库没有问题。
在远端机器用ssh客户端(putty或cygwin的ssh,ssh2或ssh1)登陆本地机器后，使用mysql
客户程序登陆数据库，没有响应。例如
./mysql --username=xxxx --password=xxxx后，屏幕不出现任何信息。敲回车键会换行
，但是仍然没有任何信息出现。只能Ctrl-C退出。
mysql.ini试了skip-networking，无论enable或disable都一样。
是mysql配置问题还是ssh和mysql冲突? |

发帖数: 8 | 10 just a guess. MySQL sends/receives text to somewhere it believes as
standard I/O, while sshd doesn't capture/send text there. It's likly
to be the problem of the MySQL client program.

DSL. but I have problems when try to use ssh on my workstation at home to
connection to the school.
after issue my username and password, I can see the welcome message, but there
is no prompt at all. after a while, I got the following message:
Diconnected; connection lost (Connection closed.)
warning ssh2[419]: number of forwarded channels still open, forked to
background to wait for completion.

ASCII, receive ASCII, send Xmodem, receive Xmodem, zModem list,等等操作统统不
能将我的文件传到主机上。
试过flashFXP, 根本就连不上。telnet也连不上。
咋办阿？

但最近大部份较新的 ssh 用户端都已经限制只支援 ssh2 了
