Miller也做这趟火车的话，他肯定会很不爽，因为20年前，90%以上的乘客都是白人。
火车经过的地方都是affluent的suburb，上了年纪的白人卖房，年轻的新移民买房。美
国大城市的suburb应该都差不多这样。
这届政府的口号MAGA和buy american hire american到底都是对80年代甚至更早时期的
一种怀念。那时候，白人，基督教是绝对的主体。如果我是白人，我对这届政府即使不
喜爱，但可能也不会厌恶。因为政府要恢复几十年前的status quo，我可以从中得益。
不少华人不满上届政府的政策，我觉着这种观点无可厚非。上届主要做的工作就是
leveling the playfield。可能影响到华人利益。但更多的影响到了WASP（白，基督教
）的利益。毕竟享受了很久的优先权，交出来肯定不爽。
这里大部分华人，和我一样住在蓝州的蓝市或是郊区，和深红没有太多交集。深红的人
对移民是很抵触的，即使是高科技移民，甚至尤其是高科技移民。你想想深红的人来到

穷人住central city从二战前郊区化就开始了。富人买的起车，可以搬到郊区，那里房
子大，环境好。穷人没的选择，只能留在市区。虽然市区地价贵，但是穷人可以住小房
子，总体上还是比去郊区的开支便宜。这里面的核心问题是富人对大房子的偏好和总体
的开支。富人搬到郊区后，对city tax是个不小的损失。城市里穷人多的地方，drug，
crime等等问题一堆。最后中产阶级很多也搬离城市，是为了躲避这些城市问题。美国
central city穷人多，郊区比较富裕这个格局形成了几十年了。
当然市区里也有高档社区，富人也不少见。但是穷人的比率比郊区高是肯定的了。在美
国生活过几年的，这都是常识了。如果会查census的话，到census网站上随便查查就知
道了。

国内治安好？过马路有大货车闯红灯撞人，走人行道有送餐车逆行撞人，住在公寓里有
小偷入室盗窃，车停楼下有人砸窗户偷东西，逛街随处都是偷包的，站在路上看手机能
被人抢手机，坐地铁会被无数咸猪手占便宜，还有各种暴露癖，除了没人拿枪打劫之外
，没哪条比米国suburb治安好的，非拿国内城市的治安跟纽约downtown比……那随便你
了，当然这边的枪支犯罪是太严重了，但对于普通住suburb的人来说，这边的治安比国
内好多了
至于说国内看病方便，这个要看怎么定义方便了，如果说walk in可能多的话，那是国
内方便点，但是如果说看病的体验的话，国内看病不楼上楼下跑个四五趟是看不下来的
，看病也不讲究先来后到，一开门一拥而上，没病也挤出病了，病人也没隐私，跟医生
说话，旁边围了至少二十个人听着，呵呵
国内吃的是多，这是废话，但这边的各国菜色也是国内不能比的，只吃中餐的老中体会
不到那就不能怪了

jersey city / Hoboken河边的两房一厅condo，如果你去查一下的话，基本都是至少
700K以上接近一个米的，加上一年两万左右的tax and maintainance.选择住在这里的
人都是为了享受便利以及生活质量而不是省钱，因为花同样的钱，到远处，可以买大

The village of Bronxville is THE suburb of United States, it is so well
known in the upscale circle that it has been endlessly copied, but never
matched.
