Sunrise附近的Casino有ski package，四人一屋最划算。有免费shuttle半小时到雪场
。必须要提前预定。
前一阵子Sunrise下了很多雪，比科州很多雪场都多！真想每周个末都在哪儿过......
最近挺暖和，如果找不够人，周末就只能在家晒太阳了。 |

发帖数: 2931 | 11 昨天先上了Sunrise，然后走123 South，706 west，准备上paradise。谁知706 west（
也叫stevens canyon Rd）关门，只好另走他径。然后GPS又把我带之另一偏僻小径通向
Longmire（离Paradise 15 miles之内了），爬上至半山腰又见路被封，连爬2次至半山
腰无果，人累车累，加之LP在旁紧紧相逼，我靠，人情绪及其低落，准备直接回家了得
了。但还是不服输，转走如下长长的路线，总算进入Paradise，还好Paradise果然风光
无限，不惜我多出2个小时的车程。
123 south，
12 south
706 west后终于看到了进Paradise的收费站，此时已经4点半，仍大喜。
从目前情况上看，从SUNRISE至PARADISE的近路（706 west）仍未开通。另外，大家如果
用GPS，一定要把公园收费站作为终点站之一，先找到收费口在继续找最终要玩的地点
。以免GPS把车带到最近的路，然而却是还未开通的路。 |

发帖数: 29 | 12 Sunrise Road开放了，但是大部分Trail都还被雪覆盖，需要专业设备，和勇于挑战PP
开花的心。
本来计划从Frozen lake 上Mt. Fremont Lookout Trail ，无奈实在是雪太厚，完全找
不到路在哪里。后来在white river campground上Glacier Basin Trail, 途径 Emmons
Moraine Trail，结果white river水势太高，需要摸石头过河，于是也坑爹了。
Glacier Basin Trail前段风景还是不错的，后段继续与雪做斗争。
总之，独立日想挑战Sunrise的同志们，请带好各种雪上装备吧！ |

这边交通限速很高，但是大家开车很野。公共交通一般。
这边虽然工资很低，但是租房偏贵，所以要有点心里打算，apartment很多，可以在
craigslist上看看。

多野花。感觉那里的trail比paradise的要简单一些。
另外到rainier也没想象中远，印象中要三小时，今天开过去只花了两小时，单程里程
98迈。

发帖数: 36 | 45 Paradise Inn 可以住。 很有历史感的木结构Lodge。餐厅据说又慢又贵又不好吃。主
厅极好，高大宽敞温暖，壁炉炉火熊熊，大大的木桌子靠窗，可以聚餐吃自带食品。还
可以上二楼，很多四方桌，看书，小酌，玩游戏都好。住宿不便宜，而且要早早预定。
上次去，清理房间的居然是说普通话的中国PPMM。可惜我还没退房她们就把房间清理了
，不幸我又用了洗手间 ：）。
晚上停车场有小狐狸出没，不怕人。
Longmire National Park Inn也可以住，也不便宜，离Park Entrance 不远，似乎有
Shuttle从Lodge 到Paradise。Paradise 旺季趴车很难的。公园外最近的是Ashford，
很多住的地方。上网查吧。
没在Rainier Camp过，山里海拔高，早晚温差大，宁可带厚的热着，好过冷得睡不着。
没听说谁专门去Sunrise 看 日出。摸黑开车要小心。但是早上光线好，山景很美。 |
