根本不值得。如果一般的superstore有打折，售价肯定比costco便宜。而且很多东西

每磅4元。而从龙虾的零售价来看，士嘉堡的一间Real Canadian Superstore在本周特
价供应重量介乎4磅至6磅的活龙虾，售价低至每磅6元。
而在盛产龙虾的新布伦威仕省、爱德华王子岛及斯高沙省，鑑于龙虾的价钱如此低廉，
在麦当劳连锁餐厅供应的龙虾西芹色拉汉堡颇受顾客的欢迎，售价只有6元。
对此，斯高沙省渔业和水产养殖厅的副厅长罗奇(Greg Roach)说：「绝大多数的消费者
可能会留意到，愈来愈多的龙虾在超市和杂货店以特价出售。而从过往的情况来看，他
们通常不会考虑购买龙虾。」
他指出，在加拿大，龙虾捕捉的数量自上一世纪80年代以来大幅升，并在近年来达到
历来最高水平。以1970年为例，加拿大全国的龙虾捕捉量只有1.7万吨，而在2010年，
加拿大全国的龙虾捕捉量已增至6.4万吨。
罗奇认为，加拿大对于龙虾养殖的严格管理条例导致了龙虾的产量大增。例如，幼小的
龙虾以及正在产卵的雌龙虾必须在海洋中放生；龙虾的捕捉季节有严格的规定。此外，
