或者是当年的PC和工作站。
Tablet会成为一个不同的产品，不会完全替代PC，而是夺走一大部分的PC用户，特别是
家庭用户。他更大的市场是，ereader，game consol，video player，home
entertainment center.
PC比Tablet相比，长处就是比较复杂的软件，像office，photoshop这样的。 Tablet拿
不到而且没有必要去抢这一块，踏踏实实地把消费市场抢下来就很好了，因为上面还有
大量内容，game，video，book，music，online shopping，实在是太大了。
如此而言，那么MSFT这个surface是个注定失败的产品，想PC和Tablet通吃，结果就是
两头不落好。
首先消费者市场，肯定没戏。你如果是app devloper, game developer, content
provider，你会为Windows 8开发吗？不会，因为全新的系统上面，用户太少了；同样

？都长土了吧？大家天天都玩手机，谁还拿起PAD玩？
tablet不能躺床上沙发里玩儿，太大太重了一只手拿不了。正经八百坐桌前又有电脑。
看电影有大电视NETFLIX这些。
如果你经常出差或者回国的话，你买完TABLET后发现其实还需要买一个TABLET LAPTOP
（带WIN8)的，因为TABLET毕竟无法当电脑用处理不了工作。而每次行李都要拿个笨重
的10好几磅的电脑包太傻太辛苦，有个1-2LBS来的电脑带着太爽了。 |

Microsoft today unveiled a major tablet initiative to compete with Apple's
iPad, Google's Android, and its own PC hardware partners.
The Microsoft Surface is a 10.6" tablet powered by Windows 8, coming in two
distinct versions -- both equipped with touch screens. One will be powered
by an ARM processor and will be more like a traditional tablet running
Windows RT. The other will be powered by Intel's 22nm Ivy Bridge chips

现在tablet的趋势都是往轻、薄发展，
毕竟要经常拿在手上用的话，便携性必不可少
iPad 1.5磅不少人拿到手上还是觉得沉，
Kindle 1&2 0.6磅是很轻，不过功能也缺不少。
其实要论功能，俺的HP tablet比它们任何一个都强不少。
配上OneNote 2010，PDF Annotator等软件，简直太好用了。
可是它重量太沉，有4.7磅
我想，如果反其道而行，不是把tablet做得更轻，
而是开发一种机器人助力手臂，让我们举重若轻，
拿着4.7磅的HP tablet就像拿着0.6磅的kindle一样，
那问题不就解决了？
其实这次上海世博会，日本展馆已经有这种机器人
助力手臂(HAL)出现了。戴上HAL之后，普通成年人
提几十公斤的东西就像拿几公斤的东西那么轻松。
希望以后发展完善了，能做到便宜和便携 |

我有一个HP tx2系列的12" tablet，装了win7和Ubuntu的双系统。
它比什么iPad，变形金刚之类的功能强太多。
看pdf, djvu电子书不在话下，还可以用笔在上面做标注。
用笔在onenote或xournal里写写画画，做做笔记也很方便。
tablet模式玩累了，屏幕折回来就是一个全功能的笔记本。
2G的cpu, 4G的内存，250G硬盘，看电影，写文档，调程序都没有问题。
它的缺点是太重，太热，电池时间太短，屏幕不够亮丽。
假如将来出一个tablet能解决上述问题。它对我的吸引力绝对超过iPad和变形金刚。
所以我很期待win8 tablet. |

发帖数: 717 | 24 Thinkpad 5年前的Tablet(X41T）就开始用Wacom digitizer(512级压感）。一直到现在
X201t。 Fujitsu的tablet也是从5前就有wacom digitizer.
从x61t开始加入电阻屏，号称multi-touch,也就是电阻屏和digitizer可以都装。
x200t开始加入电容屏，号称enchanced multi-touch,即电容屏和digitizer都可以装。
另外Thinkpad的tablet之所以相对较重，主要因为用了digitizer和IPS屏。但是比其他厂商的产品已经轻不少了。
motion专门做tablet的，不带键盘和可转屏的重量就和thinkpad的差不多。
基本上，市场上的带digitizer的tablet还没有一家的性价比可以接近thinkpad.

发帖数: 146 | 26 想买一款tablet PC（非netbook），觉得触摸屏和屏幕旋转的功能很方便；主要是用于
平时的文献阅读、论文写作、查收邮件、论坛灌水、看看在线电影，偶尔也打打如Red
Alert3之类的即时战略游戏（从不碰3D游戏）。
自己也在网上做了一些功课，比较倾向于Lenovo的Thinkpad系列的tablet，比如X200,
X201(网上看到了X61 tablet，但是在Lenovo的网站上却查不出来？）；最近看到网上
有对X300 tablet的评价，但是在Lenovo的网站上却查不出来。
主要是因为喜欢Lenovo的那个“小红帽”设计和Thinkpad的稳重外观和稳定功能，重一
点没什么问题。
另外还看到了下列几款：
1. Fujitsu LifeBook T5010 & T2020；
2. Toshiba Portégé M780;
3. HP Pavilion & EliteBook;
对HP的电脑的印象不怎么好（看到了许多负面的评价，感觉它整天在在dealsea上进行
打折销售），所以基本不考虑。
请各位推荐一款tablet PC，最好是有亲身体验的评论，以备兄弟们参考，万 |

Tablet. The lowest price I've been able to find for brand new is from
OfficeDepot.com for $379.99 with free Next Business Day shipping. The next
cheapest I've found is Amazon.com at $436.95 shipped (savings of $56.96).
