发帖数: 1 | 4 记得上几个星期去钓鱼，7个朋友一条船，早上一直钓yellow tail，战绩一般只有5条
而且有5个朋友没鱼。船长到了傍晚不服气说太少，船一开开到一个地方，叫我们放最
少12 oz，最好16oz的铅来试试。我中的是white fish，几条。但是有两个朋友中的却
是 yellow tail。中鱼的那两位朋友都是下杆以后等了好一阵子才有鱼咬的，所以我认
为不是鱼在下铅的时候半路被yellow tail咬的。虽然我鱼轮没有深度计，但是我top
shot是100 yard之前上钓过三条鱼，线有点伤剪了大概20或30yard。那么top shot最少
有70yard，我把铅放到底的时候，布线也走了不少了，所以我觉得最起码是超过250尺
水深甚至300尺，具体多深我顾着钓鱼没去问船长，钓完又没想到为什么这么深水有
yellow tail，我还以为船长打算让我们钓点石斑回家。现在才回想到这个问题，
yellow tail不是在比较浅水的地方在有水草附近吃小鱼的吗？为什么在这么深水的地
方？是不是今年天气问题鱼改变习性还是到了晚上yellow tail会跑去深水找吃？又或

发帖数: 17565 | 10 Tail of the Dragon是条摩托圈里鼎鼎有名的山路，其实就是US 129从NC/TN交界附近
向北跨山的一段路，号称11迈381个弯，无数俱乐部定期聚会云云。早就慕名想去，直
到现在才有时间。
从进入Great Smoky Mountain区开始，风景就都很不错，山路也蛮爽。到了Tail加油站
一看，晕倒，上百辆摩托，一辆跑车都没有。。。下来拍照，然后上路。这11迈山路的
急弯的确比较多，但是其实也就那样，跟来的路上那些普通的山路相比也就是相对险一
点，并没有什么本质区别。还有个重要问题，上面车大多都跑的很慢，只要稍微开快一
点很快就被前车顶住了。不过后来我听说，真正的高手都是夜里没车的时候才来跑的，
对面还有对讲机报告来车（这路一大优点是没有出入口所以不会有意外车辆进入），这
样就跟头D飙车差不多了：）
来回跑了几圈，好不容易碰到一段前面没有车，用iphone录了下来。因为有lp在车里，
我基本没有push，弯道上大概达到80%吧，直道基本没有加减速，就算这样lp还是抗议
不止而且很快就晕车了。另外iphone录像的FOV很窄，mount又偏低视角太远，所以没有

但网上的这张图上却明明是leptokurtic 是thin tail
我总感觉platykurtic 因为less peaked, pdf更宽，也会使得离mean远的点的prob变大
而导致fat tail.
大牛说说到底该怎么理解？有包子答谢 |

have larger area around the peak as
well as far down the tail, but have much smaller area in between.
The graph you draw is a little bit misleading as it does not give a clear
picture about the tail behavior. If you

那种红袖标的(Red-winged Blackbird)，还有Brewer's Blackbird，还有就是今天上的
这种鸟儿。我刚见到他们时一直以为这就是版上很多童鞋拍过的Common Grackle，结果
回家整理照片、对着鸟书一看，脚着更像是Great-tailed Grackle（鸟书P517）。从地
理上说，好像Common多在东部，而Great-tailed多在西部。再加上外形更像后者。童鞋
们说说我认得对否？
两个系列，第一个系列是先开始拍到的一只大摇大摆招摇过市的雄鸟。第二个系列有雌
有雄，当时那只雄鸟好像在发情，逮着个雌的就追在人家屁股后面狂叫（想妞儿想疯了
吧），还炸着毛儿，可好玩儿了。

俺知道这只不是Kingbird首先是因为肚皮的颜色不对(Scissor-tail是桔黄的而
Kingbird是纯黄的) 再看其它特征其实都更象Scissor-tail. 不知道看到的另外两只是
不是Kingbird

2. ROMANA CEDAR CREEK WATERFALL，好像是加州比较大的瀑布了，山色也很美，注意
要过几个CREEKS
3. LAKE MIRAMAR，平路绕湖走，可以骑自行车，人不少
4. IRON MOUNTAIN主要是爬山，人比较多，TAIL不太好走，石头多，纯爬山
5. HELLHOLE，在ESCONDIDO，去VALLEY VIEW CASINO吃顿BUFFET去爬山正好。

Rooster tail，钓白鲈的利器，对付大嘴小嘴可爱皮不露鸡也颇有功效。
时间：傍晚
地点：大湖causeway riprap
方法：扔出去回收，让blade转动。钓白鲈速度稍快没事，钓大小嘴以慢速
为佳（不是绝对）。最好让rooster tail轻轻触底，不过需要在挂底和
上鱼之间做出折中。

怎么玩spoon， rooster tail？准备这周末再去找shad的麻烦。老美用的是大号的
spoon。我有rooster tail，1/4oz和1/8oz的，用线直接绑。发现亮片在水里不打转。
shad dart能上鱼，但是效率差很多，大概是老头的1/2，或者1/3.老头用spoon，根据
大仙描述的，可能是castmaster那种。
问班里高手，
1. 什么样的setup？UL的杆子好像不行，太软。ML？
2. 看youtube好像要有一定的速度，亮片才会疯狂旋转？
3. 要不要用swivel？
4. 落水后你一般countdown不？
5. 匀速收？有些特别的手法？

一架这个月坐过的UA757,nose number 是5597，tail number是N597UA（相片不太清楚）. 可是去airliners.net上面查，居然找不到5597这架飞机。仅有的几张N597UA,居然最近的记录是2005年的，nose number 是5497。
后来查了一下，发现55xx和54xx 代表的不同的型号。55xx是ETOPS的

严格意义上pre-mRNA是没有poly（A）的，更严格意义上说，是没有pre-mRNA这个东西
的，因为转录过程中，帽子已经加上了，前边的intron已经间接了。
（当然，因为细胞内的所有的代谢过程是会出错的，很短很小的转录本（含一或两个内
含子的）肯定会有没被剪接的内含子，在外在变现就是有poly（A）tail的 pre-mRNA）。

想去派慈马特看看小翠的兄弟姐妹们，发现有些新变化。
Rango哥哥被人领走了，他的故居如今住上了三个长尾蜥（Long Tailed Lizard）和一
个安乐蜥（Green Anole，正宗小翠）。长尾蜥是棕色/土色的，以巴非常非常的长，不
看爪子的话乍一瞧还真以为是小蛇呢，其中一只头上有个扇子似的冠子，我很疑惑，仔
细一看，原来他正在蜕皮（蜥蜴蜕皮吧）。那只安乐蜥超级的湛清碧绿，在树叶上半闭
着眼睛休息，惹人怜爱。如果我没记错他们名牌上的信息的话，长尾蜥和安乐蜥都属于
相对容易养活的，标价都在十元以内；个头儿来说，都是小蜥蜴，长尾蜥最大到十二英
寸，小翠大概是八英寸；但是平均寿命相对其他兄弟姐妹较短，长尾蜥好像是五到十年
，小翠好像只有五年（所以说冰总，和小翠们的分分钟钟你都得好好珍惜啊）。

发帖数: 3894 | 42 上周六跑了传说中的 Tail of Dragon，这是个在摩托车世界里很有名的路。其实是
US129在TN的一段，11迈318个急弯，高度落差800 feet左右。路面的铺装很好但是路不
宽，路基很高，靠近山的一侧有浅沟，另一侧是山崖，标记很清晰。
这段路的起点在

这地方有几个很有名的小店
我进山的时间差不多是晚上八点半，当晚有暴雨（后来才知道），所以摩托党们都早早
收摊了。上山路上前后都没什么车，跑到5-6个弯前面一个Accord挡道，好在这家伙很
懂行，直接停在路边让我绕过去了。
因为车少，我基本上属于放开了跑，出了弯就油门到底。感觉是相当震撼的，因为一直
处于精神高度集中的状态，基本没有机会照相或者看速度表。开到中段后习惯了一些，
过弯也带一些油门，很刺激，有点玩冰球压半圆的感觉。
我基本是3-4挡换着跑，5挡用的不多，相当直的地方速度最快可以到50左右。大多的弯
