1) tent + rain fly + poles only
2) + anchors
3) + case
4) + footprint
backpacker always try to reduce the "subjectively" unnecessary
weights by omit 2)/3)/4) for a particular trip from time to time.
I never use the tent myself, but the price range might not be that
bad for the light weight 2-person 3-season tent with a footprint
- tent price can get easily doubled when the manufacture reduces
1~2 pounds from overall weight.

myself bringing a bivy on any trip unless I know there is absolutely no spot
to pitch a tent (steep, rocky, tiny bivy spot, etc), AND, it will be wet.
And then, in that scenario I just stay home anyway. :)

Will go to another store to get more tomorrow.
Spent one hour negociating price. Get Coleman Fossil Creek tent for $30 a

"According to Chinese Consulate General in San Francisco this morning,
tents should not be purchased with any additional fund, but sleeping bags (

娃以前daycare中午放一些重复节奏的曲子，我觉得可能更催。
最近本来drop nap的娃，下午的时候表现得狠疲劳，这两天我试着让他睡，但是睡得太
晚，影响白天活动和晚上睡眠了。
我打算试着中午2点半到3点半之间让他休息一下，能睡一小觉最好。
我娃还不能独立睡，以前用stroller，开车啥的，现在都不太管用，在家quiet time也
不行，他就是困死也要玩。
我想尽量布置个适合睡觉的环境，已经把客厅的玩具挪走了，打算弄个被子铺地上什么
的，造个窝，然后把现在放的自然音乐换成更催的曲子。
还有，有人推荐bed tent 吗？遮光越强越好，我在amazon看到的都是卡通的。。。

. I think Half Dome is a good all-around tent, not too small for car camping
, yet not too heavy for backpacking. It is something in between but not
ideal for either. I know people who bought it and use it as their only tent
for all kinds of trips, until they finally decide to buy separate car
camping and backpacking tents.
