44th Street in midtown-Manhattan.
An earlier theatre with the same name had been located at 5 Columbus Circle,
the present site of the Time-Warner building. Designed in 1903 by John
Duncan, the architect of Grant's Tomb, the theatre hosted original musicals,
including Babes in Toyland, and briefly served as a studio for NBC. It was
renamed the Park Theatre in 1911 and demolished in 1954.

Bellevue居民免费，对Bellevue之外的居民收$125。每期6周，60小时，最后一周在
Bellevue Youth Theatre的场地公演(对外卖票的那种）。上一期是在去年11/12月，主
题是"The Nutcracker Musical"，是12月17号到20号演出的。这一期今天开始，注册截
止到本周末，主题是"swan fairytale musical", 和上一期一样是从芭蕾舞剧改编的音
乐剧。我家娃参加了第一期，第二期也参加。
GOAL这个组织是Stanko Milov创办的。毫不夸张地说他是一个世界级的芭蕾舞演员，在

演出的歌剧公司是Opera Atelier，是一家专门演巴洛克歌剧的公司，

一般每年演两个戏，都在Elgin Theatre，一个十月份，一个四月份。
昨天看的这个戏"La Clemeza di Tito"，“狄托的仁慈”是莫扎特临终前不久为了利奥
波德二世加冕写的一部意大利语歌剧，背景是罗马皇帝Tito(拉丁语Titus）时代。因为
是应景之作，其成就和知名度远远不如同时期创作的另一部歌剧“魔笛”。即使如此，
里面那些优美的咏叹调和重唱仍然显示了大师的水平。
几位歌唱家都很出彩，女主角Vitellia的演唱者黑人Measha Brueggergosman来自New
Brunswick，是加拿大当红的女高音之一，在温哥华冬奥会开幕式唱奥林匹克颂。声音

Theatre 是上演phantom of opera专门剧场。大家下次去一定要看喔。边角票非周末２０
刀。另一部Les Miserables已经没有了。纽约每天都有changing。这才是city的精华。
不过，据说发祥地都是london national theatre。估计去过london的人不少，真正去听
过的人不多。最便宜的票子学生８L。
边上就是泰晤士河。和魂断蓝桥一样，很靠近waterloo桥和waterloo车站。细雨飘飘的时
节，听完歌剧出来后跟帅哥牵手，歪，好像拍电影喔。
