them (all about $25) I noticed that this regularly priced at $159 string
trimmer is on Clearance for 44.03!!!
There were about 5 left at the particular Home Depot I was at. GREAT price
for a good trimmer. I own a Ryobi trimmer, it is strong and works great but
I couldn't pass on this deal.
It even came with 2 trimmer heads! that would cost $50 all by itself so I

发帖数: 9607 | 9 把trimmer的头换成一个螺旋桨，直接挂在船后面做驱动器。结论是功率太小。
之所以想到这个，是因为最近买了个Arduino，琢磨着能弄些什么玩的。最先想到就是
做一个自走型的割草机。在室内用电脑控制室外割草机的路线。割草部分用手动的reel
mower改装，主要是因为这种机器是剪草不是砍草，没有高速运动的刀片。动力部分先
想到用电池和电机，这样比较简单。后来一查，原来电池的能量密度比汽油的能量密度
低两个数量级。所以就想到了用mower或者trimmer里面的汽油机改造。trimmer很便宜
，新的几十块就有，used的更便宜。上网搜trimmer引擎的改装，确实很多人拿这个来
改成航模的动力。以前觉得做航模的内燃机航模可望不可及的，价格贵而且好像维护也
挺麻烦。而consumer产品里的内燃机还真是便宜加方便。 |

拆开自己洗一洗， 问题是我好像需要更换Gustket, 看了
一些Youtube的录像， 都提到了这个Caburator是Zama的
Amazon, Ebay上面倒是有很多卖Rebuild kit, RB20, RB-xx
我怎么知道要买哪一个呢？

edger 是比较专业的专门用来切草坪边的。
专业的 edger 是用刀片的，带轮子方便贴着草坪走。
String Trimmer 一般是水平切杂草的，转 90 度
可以当 edger 用。但是 string trimmer 切出来的
草不如刀片切的齐，对草的损伤也大。 |

应该买gas还是cordless的string trimmer/edger？
目前想买的是echo srm-225 gas trimmer，HD $199
或者black & decker 20V LRT420 cordless trimmer+edger (2*20V battery), HD $99
我觉得gas的功率大，用起来方便
但是维护麻烦，每次启动麻烦
cordless的功率小，每次充满电，两块电池用不了一个小时(要不要考虑black &
decker 40V LRT160，有2*40V battery)
但是不用维护
另外一点，昨天在HD感觉了一下，gas的比较沉
不知道是不是半个小时胳膊就受不了 ;-) |

发帖数: 2823 | 27 草地外边有一大片……荆棘？我也不知道啥名字，就是那种杆上好多刺儿的玩意，大概
快有一人高了。每次剪草路过就很容易刮蹭，而且扩大的极快。
开春的时候趁着枯黄，我清理过一次，贴着地面一根根锯断，又喷了点roundup，但刚
入夏，就迅速长起来了。变绿了很茂盛，就没办法了。
最粗的大概大拇指的粗度左右，最细的新长的大概直径2，3毫米？我不懂这些，听说
trimmer是处理灌木的，看了看介绍，对付细的肯定行，理论上大概可以弄断最粗的？
我猜。但是没把握。再说trimmer太短，这玩意扎的很，距离近了去弄太麻烦。
后来知道有polesaw，说白了就是个电锯加长把子，这个对付粗的我猜问题不大，可细
的会不会一碰就跑？要是一个能解决，我实在不想再买一个trimmer。
刚好我也需要买一个chainsaw，锯树。所以在亚麻上翻了翻，找到一种polesaw和
chainsaw二合一的，可以拆下来当手持的电锯，接上棍子就是polesaw，这种思路好像
就这一种产品。电动的。
