人生得意须尽欢 - 第一站Sebastiani
这个winery 外观非常气派，走进去里面琳琅满目， 不像个酒园，倒像个红酒专卖店。
什么法国名贵酒园的纪念品，意大利产的盘子，各种工具，摆设。。。装潢十分华丽的
大厅满满地都是货品， 每一样拿起来也许你都可以唏嘘不已，这时的我，已经开始质
疑它酒的品质是否也同样华丽张扬？
Sebastiani 尝到的酒是 Chardonnay， Merlot 和 Pinot Noir. Sonoma Valley 由于
气候比Napa Valley 凉爽，又受海洋气候影响， 偏向于种Burgundy 的葡萄类型，所以
当地产的Chardonnay 和Pinot Noir 都是很不错的。Sebastiani 的酒还是十分规矩的
，虽然没有让我们Impress， 也没有让我们失望。我们一行人都还是在葡萄酒鉴赏的初
期阶段，只懂得特别好和特别不好的差别。真的要更细微地去体会，可能还要等到某一
天再回来的时候。 |

发帖数: 125 | 2 终于等来了这一周，一个人自驾穿行在三四个州之间，陪伴我的就是大自然壮美的山和
水。
先从Vegas驱车日行五百多哩，来到了Monument Valley，继续沿着Rt. 163往东北开，
找到了阿甘当年跑步横穿美国停下来的地方。只是已近夕阳，逆光下远方的山丘只余剪
影。
再折返回到Monument Valley Tribe Park，里面的The View Hotel提供了无死角观赏落
日余晖的平台。
日落西山暮色蔼蔼，远方天际线上晚霞呈现蓝色紫色交织的彩带。
回到Arizona的Page小镇，第二天清早，来到旁边的Lower Antelope Canyon，发现早前
登记的早上八点半的Photography Tour，竟然只有我一个人。时间突然变得宽裕起来，
让我能够好整以暇的找到洞穴里的奇妙世界。

像是湍急的浪花
下午来到及miles之外的Horseshoe Bend，和一对儿瑞士来的小两口一起坐在悬崖边上
等落日。其间不时有冒冒失失的毛头小伙子，在同行的女孩们之前显示自己的胆量，攀
到悬崖边突出的石头上。落日将近，悬崖边上就密密麻麻站满了人。

又是一年，skagit valley的春天，是不能错过的，水仙花，郁金香，鸢尾花，组成了

不通英语的发小犹他等了4个小时等待救援车。救援车用了不到10分钟换了备胎。摇摇
晃晃又上路。今天打电话给我告诉我被困在Death Valley了。
我已经警告过他几次。一定要在中午前离开Death Valley。下午有雷暴。结果命中注定
。他们游完Badwater美洲大陆最低点走错了路。没有原路返回而是继续向前走。哪方向
就是N年前死人有数的地方。结果如约碰到下午的雷暴。
还好他们命不该绝。估计本身煞气重还有真丝楠木珠链护体。上一次发小在川藏路遇到
泥石流醒来整辆车里面都是石头他都没死。看着漫山遍野的洪水冲下来沧海横流凭着RV
冲过去。挣扎着回到Furnace Creek做面条。与世隔绝看着水位不断地上涨。
公园管理员告诉他们方圆两百英里的道路都封了。要等大水过去再说。我深深地祝福他

我刚从Texas一个不错的学校Mechanical Engineering MS毕业，现在用OPT开始找工作。
前一段时间找工作找得看不到希望时，发现Silicon Valley的Santa Clara University
的Graduate Engineering项目非常有弹性，2012年fall这个入学时间，居然到现在还能
申请。
另外就是因为我的ME背景其实更偏EE一些，于是就申请了这个学校的EE MS项目一下，
作为最后运气不好找不到工作的保底。
不晓得大家对这个学校的这个项目了解吗？
我的打算是尽快1年半毕业，在Silicon Valley找工作。
这个项目在website上说自己的亮点就是professors和Silicon Valley的大公司小
startup的有良好的关系，那么我推断应该很容易在暑假找到实习，毕业后顺利找到工
作。
前辈们是不是也是认为我应该继续用OPT找工作，实在找不到再接受这个学校的
admission呢？
