I personally LOVE meat. I would rather die compared to give up meat. =P
But I also respect those vegans. They have their own belief in term of diet.
They make their own choice. No one else should ever try to intervene even
if he/she does not buy the idea. There are many great athletes who are vegan
out there, such as Scott Jurek, Carl Lewis etc. This fact at least shows

我很早就想试试 Isa Moskowitz 有名的cupcake菜谱，就是下不了决心。我做饭是很懒
很烂
的，我妈妈都惊讶我一个人还活下来了。去年她来看我的时候，给我做了整整一冰柜的
速食---各种

儿肉。
基本上粗粮，蔬菜，豆类奶类坚果类，很少量的鱼和海鲜类。体力和营养都不是问题。
vegan也各有不同。
出发点不同，有的是为了健康，有的是习惯或者宗教。
周围的同事有吃素的印度人，完全出于宗教，原则是只要有杀生的就不吃。
程度也不一样，有的vegan吃鸡蛋，有的不吃。
美国有一批原教旨的vegan，只要是动物来源的东西都不吃不用，比如说动物皮革制品
，皮带皮鞋皮夹克，都不用。 |

些仿皮制品看上去也很高档，这种东西没有什么质量问题，我的帆布腰带还是五年前在
Old Navy买的，可以在网上搜一下canvas belt, canvas belt with D ring，基本上所
有休闲裤子都可以配。
鞋就比较困难，现在市场上的非皮/仿皮鞋都比较贵，样子和质量也没有真皮的舒服，
平时随便穿穿还可以，走路很多就会感觉出差别。尤其是冬天的鞋，我穿了几年非皮鞋
，最后终于受不了了，还是买了几双皮鞋，目标是能穿上十几年。
如果愿意试试的话，vegetarianshoes.com有很多非皮鞋，很多卖鞋的网站也可以挑
vegan/eco鞋，夏天的薄底鞋我喜欢Simple的，去年给妹妹买了双Ugg的雨鞋式样的胶鞋
，在北京过冬没问题，型号叫Magpie，可惜现在已经很难买到了。

说到RAW FOOD我曾研究过，觉得，有些食物真的不适合人生吃，要生吃得循序渐进，慢
慢关小火，而不是一下子灭了炊烟。MM要仔细平衡。

星期天，一样，加了一些核桃仁和杏仁
喜欢生吃瓜果蔬菜，但味道上缺乏比较不能忍受，懒得生火做饭所以什么都生着吃没问
题，但没有调味料无法接受。 变成VEGAN最大的挑战就是不吃冰激凌和煮鸡蛋。这种欲
望大概每月两三次次。目前还算安全。

come from Taiwan, I have resided in US (nostly in Boston) for a quarter
