well, i know this question is stupid...
i wanna convert a program (which was compiled on SUN workstation) to a format
that can be used on the machine in my lab. uh, I don't know what kind of
machine im using now, it says: Digital AlphaStation 600A 5/500, and
I use UNIX on it.
Can any of ur unix gurus tell me the proper steps i should take
to convert the program. What's the difference bt. a SUN format & a format
usable in my computer? Or the program can work without conversion? Then what's

in my win2k computer, I realized IE can't open any page, it shows things as
blank but show done at the left bottom status place. I created another account
and IE works fine.
In my new laptop, somehow IE can't access www.mitbbs.com with the same problem
, it also does not work at mail.yahoo.com, I can login, but when I click
delete certain mail, nothing happens...
what is wrong? is javascript disabled or what? I ran spybot, pestpatrol and

I found there is a huge gap between what I've learned in school and what
I use in work. All course I took in college use a lot of advanced
mathematics. But in my work, it seems that what senior people call
experience, are just a bunch of common sense. Like don't use a too small

from your everyday work/study/research and do some soul search and thinking.
What is your interest? What do you want to achieve? Is that goal realistic?
What are some constraints on you, e. g. family to support, close to your
significant other? And etc etc. Balance all factors and then make a decision
and start learn necessary skills if you decide

expect for my life?" Then if one thinks counseling or psychotherapy may help,
one can search for a therapist who is helpful for one to make positive changes

which is explained in many cosmology books. Basically, it is a vacuum energy
dominated Universe. However, I don't know what is an Anti-de Sitter Universe.

我用的最多的是hang out with friends, sometimes go to a bar. 但是有风险,应为
