Kaplan的
CS辅导书就是 Dr.Wolfe写的，但由于有版权问题，我们这个班就用打印下来的资料，
和原来辅导书也有些区别。Dr.Wolfe原来是加州旧金山湾区Kaplan的老师,我朋友上
Kaplan课的时候就是Dr.Wolfe讲课的.他很有经验,在Kaplan任教8年。之前是Kaiser医
院里的Residency director.最近Kaplan搬到洛杉矶去了,Dr.Wolfe没有搬走,标准病
人们也和Dr.Wolfe一起留下来重新组班,目前一共有4个标准病人,还有另两位tutor,还
有一位助手.group报名有10%off,我和另一位同学一起报名的。上课分3天班和一天班,我因为就要考了,就只报3天班.$1500减去10%off,就
是$1350.如果４天班，那就是＄１８００减去10%off,如果只参加１天班，１１个cases，

发帖数: 39 | 8 早就想推荐Dr. Wolfe的辅导班了，正好接着这个帖子说几句吧。我去年参加了Dr.
Wolfe的班，之后我们一期的同学全部顺利的通过了考试。刚开始参加的时候，我一边
FA都还没有看完，CK又考完一段时间了，所以心里很没底。上课的环境很好，2个非常
大的房间，很安静，布置成若干个诊室。SP都是专业演员，受了特殊培训，有多年辅导
的经验，会交给你很多书上没有的但是很有用的tips。每天case的数量和时间分布都是
逐渐增长的，给你适应的时间。也有专门的session讲解和练习查体和notes的书写。所
有的case都是计时并且打分的，在一天结束的时候，你会自己把各部分的分数算出来，
就能知道自己在什么水平，能不能通过。这样学生就充分了解了分数是怎样计算的。每
一轮case都有一个被录像，之后每个学生会单独跟Dr. Wolfe一起review，看优点和缺
点各在哪里。一天下来，Dr. Wolfe会把当天的case跟大家集体go over一遍，回答学生

that it is expensive (over >$2K) and noisy.
If you don;t particular care of brand name or brand matching (if you also
have WOLF cooktop or overn), I would suggest you to get Kobe.
I have Kobe at home, it is equally powerful as the Wolf, but a lot quieter.
The price is also around $800 - $1K, much cheaper than the Wolf. Wolf is
made in the USA, while Kobe is made in Japan. |

此多说两句一家之言。
一部电影是由很多镜头连在一起组成的，但是这并不意味着一部电影的影响就应该被局
限在主线情节的镜头里，有时候主线镜头之外的东西其实也是导演的有意安排，即所谓
弦外之音。比如常见的黑帮电影就经常使用地下非法的东西来隐喻地上合法的东西。《
The Godfather》里面，观众眼前的黑道血肉横飞却也有情有义，反衬的是背景里政府
商界的冠冕堂皇但是冷酷无情。
Martin Scorsese作为老导演是比较喜欢这种手法的。比如他在早些的《Taxi Driver》
里面用对一个性格极端的个人的异化过程的描述来反衬现代社会近乎绝望的人际冷漠。
《Gangs of New York》里纽约黑帮的打打杀杀的后面，弦外之音其实是所谓白道的警
察的阴狠贪婪，和政府赤裸裸的自私和猥琐（比如从欧洲刚刚抵达新大陆的移民从船上

家也不错啊，在同价情况下能优先卖出去吗？wolf能有这个吸引力吗？呵呵

However, lots of people at ar15.com are reporting issues of wolf ammo with
their ARs, they will get FTE if mix using wolf and copper cased ammo at the
same range session, explanation is that steel case will not expand as much
as copper, so chamber is not well sealed and blowed back acrbon will

发帖数: 327 | 27 今年母亲节2个grandma都在这儿, 早早的和猪头商量了, 要不全家一起出去玩一次. 不
想跑太远, 同事推荐了往南70 miles的Great Wolf Lodge, 说是室内水上公园, 住那儿
玩那儿. 看了一下网评, 才三颗星, 想了半天, 没其他地方好选, 决定还是去一下.
这Great Wolf Lodge全美有11个连锁店, 西岸才摊上1个, 在WA靠近OR交界处. 看地图
不过70英里左右, 原以为开1个小时就能到. 结果路上好几处限速50, 有木有搞错啊,
拖拖拉拉的开了快2小时才到.
去前同事说hotel四周没啥特色景点, 恩, 到达目的地发现除了边上的interstate
highway, 可以说前不着村后不着店的. 猪头笑说别进去后发现才1, 2个小游泳池, 后
悔也来不及了.
怎么说呢, 进了lodge还是很被impress了一把, 哈哈. 我没拍照片, 拿网上的凑数.
我们要了2间普通房, 每间都是2个Queen bed. 房间不错, 挺大的. 有冰箱微波炉. 还
要了个crib, 等送来一看, 就是棒棒家用的折叠式小床.

我去Dr.Wolf培训班的时候，病人是kaplan的旧员工，练了40个case后，真考试时基本
不紧张。除外Dr. Wolf,还有Dr. Lopeos, 南美洲来的，当时在UCSF做骨科的fellow，
他step 1 &2 都是270+，很善于考试，教了不少快速问诊查体写病历的窍门。不过，去
Dr. Wolf的班，最好先把语言和套路练好，否则收获可能不大。
另外，据说最近有变动，你最好多打听一下。
其实，要是能先到teaching hospital做做observationship or externship,最爽。
