If u are talkign about resuming an existing session like winxp, i don't know
how to do it but i believe there is a way to do it in linux as well. One
more thing, winxp can only allow one remote desktop, sucks big time.

另外也不会是terminal的问题，我以前硬盘上的中文文件都是gb编码，terminal里都能
正常显示，而且thunar也能正常显示。 |

kde的一个daemon。这样运行起来的时候，没有加载速度问题。代价是要费内存。 |

I guess you would like to use GNOME file selector instead of gtk file
selector.
XFCE is not a complete framework, it is more like fvwm, with GUI
configuration utilities instead of the text ones. |

to load a lot of stuff when you start some application like firefox. The
less you load in the beginning, the more you load in the end. I use gnome,
and it takes some time to log in. But I don't turn off my computer, I always
hibernate. |

kill 掉 samba start script 可以启动
但是 gnome login 失败
能进 xterm session
强制运行 gnome-session 死菜
重起后 samba 又能 start 了。。。
看来偶还是安装 xfce desktop。。。 |

newer versions of gnome performs as smooth as older versions (maybe better)
as long as you have no
interests in those "composite" effects. no idea about kde4
if you encountered fd0 error i guess the reason is that floppy support is
enabled but your machines has got no
floppy drive. the error might pop up when xbuntu tries to access a not-even-
exist floppy drive. |

ssh可以启动，从外边可以ssh进去。
没有apt源，怎么安装xfce什么的。将来应该可以。 |
