前20名僅Lord Byng一間公校
【明報專訊】菲沙研究所(Fraser Institute)2008/09學年卑詩省中學排名報告昨日出
爐，排名第一得到滿分的學校只有溫市私校York House，過去5年保持第一的St George
's被擠到第二。排名前20的中學，只有溫西區的Lord Byng一間公校，過去一直在公校
排名前列的University Hill，首度被擠到20名外，只佔22名。
好消息是，2009年卑詩省及育空地區中學省試成績為5年來最好，畢業率因此創下95.8%
，也是5年來最高。
菲沙研究所卑詩省中學排名報告，是根據12年級班學生省試成績平均、省試不及格率、
學校成績與省試成績的差異、英文科男女學生成績差異、數學科男女學生成績差異、畢
業率等，來評鑑每間學校的表現。
每年排名前20名的中學，幾乎清一色是私校，2009年只有溫西Lord Byng一所公校學校
進入20名，而不至於「全軍覆沒」。
排名較前的大溫主要公校還包括，溫哥華Prince of Wales排名31、西溫的Sentinel排

city啦，
从NYC到DC沿95，可以去以下地方，Philadelphia, Longwood Garden, Baltimore (
inner harbor),然后就DC啦，做飞机其实也没啥，从NYC到DC，华人开的Chinatown Bus
很发达，停留Philly和Balitmore,但Longwood Garden就不要想了，飞的好处就是省时
间，省了Ohio开到东海岸的时间。 |

1． 到达NY:
如果你在东岸，可以从你当地，坐华人长途汽车公司的bus 到 Manhattan 的Chinatown
。一般是夜里发车，早上到NY.
• Tip: 如果买往返车票, 会便宜一些。
• 一般华人长途汽车公司在纽约的停靠点是 Allen street 和 East
broadway的路口一带，那里有好多华人长途汽车公司.
• 只收现金
2．一日游概况：
预先订好的 NY 一日游。一般出车点就在Manhattan 的Chinatown。我是在taketour.
com 上定的，都是中国人的车。10刀/人，但另外收 85刀（12岁以下 65刀）的门票和
服务费。这个85刀是包括了三个景点的门票和7刀的服务费。我的团是有以下三张门票：

，拿着微薄的工资，忍受着畸形的城市环境。New Yorker就是一群自我催眠，阿q精神
到极致sb。以为和很多富翁待在一个城市里自己也变得高贵了，其实你自己的生活轨迹
到死都不会和别人有任何交集。你唯一在纽约的贡献就是天天辛苦工作，然后拿自己的
工资来支撑纽约变态的房价和租金而已。对个人的发展和成功来说纽约还比不上硅谷。
硅谷里面白手起家，一夜成名的老百姓太多了。纽约除了被老犹把持的金融业之外根本
给普通人没有任何创业的机会(当然除了老鼠会那种东西）。New Yorker天天标榜New
York是个自由的地方，你想干什么都可以。其实纽约才是个社会等级最森严的地方。中
国工薪阶层呆在纽约当然心理平和了，反正下面有劳模，偷渡客干着最简单最脏的工作

说是先在york校区读两年，然后参加考试，如果成绩好就转到主校区park校区读两年。
不知道这事儿靠不靠谱。
如果靠谱，不知道两年的那个考试是怎么样的条件才能进PARK？
听说PENN STATE的本科新生都不是直接进PARK的，是这样的吗？
还听说YORK校区发的学历中国国内都不承认，不清楚。

whether New York accept it or not. Or, with a Ph.D. degree obtained in U.S.
, am I qualified to be exempted from the EIT or FE requirement and can take
PE exam directly? Can someone give me a hint?
