changed from F1 to H1 on Oct 1, 2010 and is married and has a kid born on Feb 2010. First half year is paid by RA (年底需要跟学校索取W2表吗？).
I can file as resident married jointly for the whole year, and enjoy
standard deduction and tax treaty.
However if my H1 days < 183, you need to file extension first.
尽管看了First-Year Choice in pub 519， 还是不甚解.
请达人指教这个“file extension first”是啥意思。谢谢！
另外像我这种情况的，是不是干脆请个tax accountant比较好？因为有moving expense，
买了新车应该可以多退点税吧，等等。各种乱七八糟的太多，感觉自己报搞不定。
本人是新手，问的问题比较低级，请见谅。 |

其他两个条件是 485 递交 180 天后，和工作性质相同或相似
