as long as you pass the exam and you have the expereience....
that's all you need...
other people correct me if i'm wrong though |

G***Y 发帖数: 162 | 5 Many states require experience no matter public or not. But, you need a
verification by a license CPA from your company.
Some states require only Public experience. Check with your board! in this
case, if I were you...I just transfer my CPA scores to a state which does
NOT require public experience and get a license from them (only if no
residency requirement).

as long as you pass the exam AND you have industry experience,it will just
be as good as a licensed CPA

G***Y 发帖数: 162 | 8 What's the point to Pass CPA exam? just to prove you know accounting? doesn'
t an accounting degree prove that already?
CPA Test is only a test, doesn't mean anything without a CPA License.
CPA exams passed,都是写CPA or MBA.

25 | 9 I don't have an accounting degree here. That's why I want to take CPA
certifcate (initially). BTW, my boss doesn't know I took & passed CPA.
I applied for NY state CPA and it accepts non-public accounting experience.
Don't know whether my current working experience, which only has 20-30%
internal auditing, is qualified or not? |

then why did you question about CAP license?

j*****n 发帖数: 25 | 12 If working for public accounting firm, I guess there is no doubt I will get
CPA license. NY CPA working experience requirements for non-public seems
kinda complicated. Do you think I can get certified according to my
experience below if someone (CPA) agrees to sign?
50-60% Financial reporting
20-30% Auditing
20-30% Financial planning
5% others |
