发帖数: 63 | 1 本人国内的金融小本毕业，刚拿到绿卡， 我同时申请了 Baruch 的会计 Master , St.
john's 的会计 Master 和 Baruch 本科第二会计学位。
现在的情况是 Baruch 的 会计硕士把我 REJ 了 ， 但是他的本科会计第二学位把我录
取了。我还拿到 St.john's 的 会计硕士录取。
因为有绿卡所以付的是州内学费， Baruch 的 本科一个学期 2300 ， 要读两年，也就
是四个学期， 总学费是 2300 乘以四= 9200.
St.john's 是私立大学，有无绿卡付的学费都是一样，920 一个学分，一共修 33 个学
分， 总学费=30360.
我现在比较迷茫，我的计划是希望将来能够找到一份工作，因为金融根本找不到工作所
以转会计，请问我现在该怎么选择？ |

major, will have an edge.
Baruch's undergraduate is very famous. When speaking of Baruch, people refer
to Baruch's undergraduate program. Leave room for your future, once you
finish school and gain experience, you can apply much better graduate
program. |

发帖数: 381 | 5 MM,我个人意见尽供参考。 BARUCH 的本科和硕士的ACCOUNTING的专业课差不多学的是
一样的课（可能是一样的）。很多时候BARUCH 硕士的会计毕业生并不比本科有优势。
如楼上所说，BARUCH 本科声誉在NYC地区还不错，优势是学费便宜。你两年就能毕业，
和学个硕士时间是一样的。在找工作上BARUCH 的本科和硕士没有什么特别大的区别。
我不知道St.John's 的 会计硕士PROGRAM 的声誉如何,往届毕业生找到工作的几率如何
。这两个学校的本科和硕士学位对找工作时差别大不大，你可以向这学校的校友打听一

BTW, you should apply accounting MBA in baruch, MS acct only for those who

Accounting Program is extremely hard at under, The average is C+, which
means half students will get C+， most of students are chinese, very hard
working. a cost accounting class with 80 students at beginning, at the end
of final, only 25 students in class, the rest has dropped the class, too
hard. go to St John, although it is expensive, but the job placement is
almost same, because of baruch cheap tuition, attracting many a |

会计硕士滴。因为BARUCH的会计本科和硕士会计专业课是一样的，让你重读一遍一样的
课程没有意义。
如果本科所需学分够本州CPA考试的要求，就可考Cpa考试。并不需要会计硕士学位才可
考。

Save your master degree for future after clearly thinking twice on what kind
of master degree and what field is your best pursuit. You may find
accounting is not as interesting as you thought. You may make a switch then.
Locking yourself in MS Accounting is probably not a wise decision while
also having a BS in accounting.

发帖数: 191 | 14 How many MS do you want? Wisely planing a career path that won't be
criticized by recruiter is important. Why do not you get a MS in Accounting
because you want to take CPA and then a MS in CIS because you want to take
CISA and another MS in Forensic Accounting because you want to take CFE??
For me, I won't get a MS in accounting and then get another MS or MBA.
Market is getting tougher and tougher. Think wisely before any decision.

their MSA. What a money maker. So MSA is better than MBA accounting since
MSA is cheaper in tuition and take the same damn courses. But I though "he"
has been rejected by the MSA. What other choice left? |

that St. John's Program is not considered.
Spending two years to meet the 150 credits from BA program is not a bad
investment. Also, lz already has master degree in business. The ultimate
goal is meeting CPA education requirement only. |

行和零售行业找到实习，竟然能pay到25一小时。 |

发帖数: 396 | 21 1.It doesn't matter whether you are bachlor or master to obtain a job,
however the starting salary might be different.
2.Make sure you have 150 credit hours and among those credits, you have
certain courses for CPA exam.
3.If your background is good enough, try ST Johns' RA/TA assitantship. If
you can get that, free for a master, why you need to go a second degree of
bachelor?
