Senior Accountant- BIG 4/ Public Accounting/CPA
Location:Tempe, Arizona

A growing Manufacturing company is looking to hire a dynamic Senior
Accountant (CPA- required) to join their team on a permanent basis. This
company is a leading global high tech manufacturer that has recently moved
its headquarters to the Tempe area. Come join their dynamic team and great

In this position, you'll have the opportunity to:
Perform financial analysis and prepare monthly combined financial statements
reports.
Maintains general ledger by gathering and posting entries, reviewing all
entries made, reconciling accounts or coordinating the reconciliation of
accounts to the general ledger. Coordinates monthly general ledger closing.
Prepare quarterly consolidation of financial statements.
Participates in monthly financial meetings for discussion and review of
monthly financial statements.
Reconcile general ledger accounts.
Assist with the preparation of year-end closing processes. Prepare annual
long-term and short-term financial statements in compliance with accounting
guidelines and U.S. GAAP. Assist in the preparation of workpapers for
annual audit.
Provide guidance to other Finance personnel for proper internal and external
financial accounting procedures and their application.
Assist with the preparation of annual budgets, updates, and strategic plans
for branch operations and for other assigned areas. Coordinates preparation
of monthly combining entries to combine financial results.
Assist and review accounting for branch operations performed by branch
accounting staff.
Assist with the ongoing implementation of the financial accounting system.
Assist with the maintenance and application of internal controls.
Qualifications:
B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance & Business – 4 Years accredited school.
A minimum of 6 years’ experience with large manufacturing company
experience
Public accounting experience highly preferred
CPA required
Technical Accounting / Manufacturing experience
Oracle/ Hyperion OR Large ERP systems, MS Excel (pivot table, v-lookups)
Intercompany Payable experience (preferred)
