responsibilities include
The Asian markets hold tremendous opportunities for health insurance. My
Client has an ambitious goal to boost the Health Insurance presence within
the Asian markets. The expansion in health products also aligns with the
company’s strategy to diversify its product portfolio and balance sheet.
In this exciting and challenging role, you will be expected to:
Drive and support health business initiatives across the region by working
closely with people across many functions and BUs.
o Understand the overall health insurance market environment and
competitor products
o Assist BUs in formulating health product strategy and positioning
o Identify and commercialize new product opportunities; lead the
innovation of new product ideas across the region; promote the sharing of
best practices.
o Coordinate, negotiate, and problem-solve with personnel across
functions from RO, BU’s and re-insurers.
o Assist BUs in product design, pricing, launch and management
o Build a strong working relationship with regional functions and BUs;
motivate and lead teams.
o Ensure that all work is consistent with strategies, risk management
principles and guidelines; promote an optimal balance between value creation
and risk management.
Act as the health product expert and provide high-impact services across the
region.
o Provide health product expertise and drive initiatives in the following
areas:
o Product development, positioning, pricing
o Underwriting and claims management,
Risk management
o Experience monitoring and studies, Post-launch risk assessment
o Fraud management and claims audits
o Emerging trends in health insurance
o Transfer health business knowledge and management skills to BUs with a
focus on balancing marketability and profitability. |
