Assistant Actuary
Objective: Responsible for providing actuarial analysis of new products and
changes to existing
products. Support product implementation and inforce testing.
Background Requirements:
- BS/BA Math/Statistics
- FSA or ASA with expected progression towards Fellowship
- Minimum 5 years actuarial experience
- Life insurance pricing experience
- Pricing software, spreadsheet and database software (MG-ALFA is highly
preferred)

Sr Actuarial Associate
Background Requirements:
EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE
BS/BA Math/Statistics – higher degree preferred.
Actuarial Fellow or Associate (Fellow preferred)
EXPERIENCE
3 - 6 years of life insurance/actuarial experience
Universal Life experience (or equivalent) preferred
Ideally, some prior experience of Economic Capital reporting
SKILLS REQUIRED
Proficient written and oral communication skills.
Strong actuarial analytical skills and problem solving ability
Ability to multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment
Database/Spreadsheet capabilities (Excel or FoxPro)
Actuarial software skills – e.g. MG-ALFA, VBA are also desirable.

Assistant Actuary
Objective: Responsible for Actuarial analysis and modeling of In-Force and
New Business, and all associated captive reinsurance.
- Work with corporate actuarial project manager to help plan project
deliverables for corporate
actuarial. These deliverables include European Embedded Value, Value of New
Business, Cash
Flow Testing, Reinsurance deals and Corporate planning.
- Liaise with model architecture team members to review models built using
MG-ALFA or other
software to ensure they are fit for purpose.
- Review production metrics as needed for accuracy and to ensure
appropriate controls and
validations have been performed.
- Build and/or maintain special purpose spread-sheet models as needed.
- Review experience studies and external research to help set operational
and other assumptions to
be used for Embedded Value, Cash Flow Testing and other metrics.
- Produce memos and other documents as required in support of analysis.
- Communicate clearly the results of analysis and all potential issues to
manager.
- Other duties as required. |

不过,我觉得越不总HIRE 人的,越稳定.一年四季月月招人的,不能去. |

发帖数: 1373 | 5 1，每个公司title可能会有很大差异，某公司的actuarial assoc可能是另外公司的
assoc actuary。
2，每年都有新position都有new hire，真正因为走人而空出来的占少数。
3，在办绿卡方面相对比较大方。
您说这样的公司doing得如何？ |

traffic/high COL, but still close enough to shopping, chinese restaurants,
etc. I know they had a lot of nice new housing developement as well. |

发帖数: 1373 | 10 具体我不清楚，因为我不是HM。这边cost of living确实比在大农村高一些（其实主要
也就是住房），在当年几个offer里也不是最高的。但是到目前为止我做得还比较愉快
，可能我要求不高吧～～

Economic Capital REPORTING 吗? LIFE 中不用SAS, SQL 听都很少能听到, 只有在做
ILLUSTRATION 那块能用到一点.
你应该找HEALTH 方面的. |
