不过Asian studies (不限于Asian American) 还是发展很快的
特别是与中国相关的研究，不管是语言、文化、经济、政治、历史、民族学等等都越来
越热，而且空白又很多。如果有志从事这些方面的研究倒是个不错的选择，看个人兴趣。
Chinese studies最强的学校包括Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Berkeley, UCLA, U
Michigan, SUNY, U Hawaii...可以说是各有千秋吧，能进其中任何一个就职
就牛死了，呵呵
虽然这些主要是针对中国大陆或泛中华地区进行研究的，但不难想象对美国华人社会的研
究也不会差
如果你有比较明确的研究方向，还可以考察一些学校的Anthropology, Sociology,
Linguistics, Language and Literature, Politics等系里有没有专门研究华人的方向，
未必都在Center for Chinese Studies里。比较专业的方法还是多看文献，了解相关学科
。
