OS owner who makes hardware, then license the OS to other hardware makers,
this model has never worked.
Did not work for Apple.
Did not work for Palm.
Did not work for Nokia.
Did not work for M$: PlayForSure & Zune.
The reason is simple. You either make better hardware than licen |

Just time subscription music model.
iTunes may enter this market and be successful but iTunes with subscription
alone will never work either.
简单的说。
如果Google做的手机比其他厂家好，比Moto, Samsung等等好，那么因为Google又控制
OS，那么这些厂家必然不会全力以赴做Android。必然会为自己留一手，自己开始搞自
己的OS，甚至离开这个平台。
如果Google做得不够好，then what's the point？自毁形象？分散注意力？多品牌战
略有好处，不过并不是总是最佳模式。

如果Google做的手机比其他厂家好，Google phone + OS + Google apps might beat
iPhone and Palm one day. Then why to care 其他厂家?
如果Google做得不够好, at least they can still license the OS and sell Google
apps.
If you focus on OS only, get ready to be dumped at any time. Think about
Microsoft and Windows Mobile.

也许会透露一些下一个iPhone OS的一些细节。
不过硬件方面估计会保密。

但由此就断定google不会做自有品牌还为时尚早，
因为现在google很难要求其他android厂商采用google的广告盈利模式来补贴手机成本
如果google自己做手机，其实不需要太高的配置，
只要能通过在线广告模式把价格降下来，在中低端市场绝对有戏，
而且也避免了与iphone的正面交锋

google加入也就相当于多个竞争对手而已，
本来moto这样的厂商根本没得选，就靠android救命呢，
而且跟风android至少不用交wm的份子钱
