Back when I wrote the review for the iMacs, I asked Apple about over-
provisioning and other technologies used to help maintain a SSD's integrity.
What they eventually told me is that their SSDs are designed with firmware
and specifications to prevent slowdowns as they age, and over-provisioning
is one method they use. They didn't provide any more specifics to me. It's
not too far-fetched to think Apple uses similar firmware and specifications
for SSDs, though we need to do more research on this.
也就是说也许苹果自带的SSD的firmware他们加了一些东西防止变慢
不过对其它SSD的TRIM还没有支持目前。根据测评，最新的MBAir的系统信息显示尚不支
持TRIM.但是可能会在Lion的时候支持吧。 | p****t
