过去是事实了， 就看下降的速度有多快。我是很看不惯公司或家庭的没落， 很伤感，

包括safari, chrome和android web， 可以说高的不是一个等级。
可惜这可能也是windows rt metro下唯一可取之处。 |

苹果所有的revenue是36 billion
如果是Jobs可以无视华尔街倒是可以博一下，但是历史上苹果一向不是主动对应对手，
而是把东西做好，贵点，也是有人愿意买的。只是这次遇到财大气粗又不靠买东西赚钱
的对手了。

google 是个聪明而且有大量技术底蕴的公司，amazon 也是同样非常强悍有魄力做大的
对手，苹果没有有魄力的move 会很被动。

Look at verizon, invented voip, however, they can not adopt it due to the
margin compression of that "new" technology. Yet, look at their land line
business crashing. There is no difference APPL is facing, do it, stock crash
, If they don't do it, company crash.
Now look at APPL's attitude towards NFC, Map, the company is facing same
problem, new technology renders their services inferior. Yet they have to
grab onto the last dime that preserves their profit margin. Oh, did I
mention latest high-tech cable？
That's the reason APPL's margin guidance peaked this year, and they give
even weaker guidance on profit margin coming qtr.

concerned about the company's strategy and I agree with him.
Apple can charge premium if its products have no or weak competition. Making
good products is not enough if competitors' products are equally good or
better, and at lower prices. Mini is a flaker strategy to protect the
premium brands, so flooding its segment is totally reasonable. I think Cook
is too fixated on margin and did not price the Touch and Mini right.
Forstall is a victim of internal politics. He is hardcore but he's got
character and is not afraid of speaking out his mind. That in a way is what
Apple has been. Using not signing an apology letter as an excuse to fire him
is so lame - A letter of apology from Cook represents Apple already. Do
people really care if a particular SVP signed it or not?
Jobs considered Android a stolen product and hated its guts. I am sure
Forstall was just trying to fulfill his mentor's last wishes to get rid off
Google from the company's products. There's nothing wrong in his thinking
especially knowing how Google intentionally made GMap inferior on iXYZ
compared to Android. I personally applaud Forstall's courage. But in
hindsight he probably tried to accomplish too much too quickly. He could
have used Nokia or Bing map for now until the company's own map is ready for
prime time. However, imagine the opposite - had Apple map been a success,
Forstall would have been crowned a hero. Now you fire someone who's
audacious to try something new, who else is going to stick his head out and
stand up to Google or Microsoft?
