to insure your liability, and they will usually send someone to look at your
car just for the sake of have some information of who should be at fault at
arbitration / court. They normally would give out an inflated repair value
for your car as they wouldn't be paying for that regardless.
The other choice is call the other insurance company and have them look at
your car, but they would give you a low ball estimate if pos

发帖数: 36252 | 7 on fixing the car, you have 2 options:
A. get cash - if you do NOT want to fix the car or want to fix it cheap
and pocket the differece, get 3 free estimates from 3 different body
shops, fax them to the insurance company and ask for as much as possible
B. get the car fixed - send your car to good bodyshop, ask them to bill
the insurance directly. Usually insurance company recommended bodyshop are
good; avoid dealer because most dealers do not do body work, they tow your
car to a body shop nearby
