1. EVAP system failure = "check engine light" on (if you overfill you fuel tank often, eventually you will get this failure).
2. MAF sensor;
if you search "oil loss" & "2001 Corolla", you will find another
problem: 3."excessive oil loss".
They do not happen on all cars, but have high occurance.#3 is the most
serious, and some people lost severaal quarts in 2000 miles!!! |

Without looking at the car, nobody knows it condition.
I am only pointing out the common problems that could happen on this car. If
you do not check it out, you might lose a good opportunity to get a good
price and a good car. |

我的Saturn ion 2004， 93k mile，one-owner, clean title，车主是牧师，车放在车库
里，保养很好,刚换的4个新轮胎, 3750$买的，
在craigslist上蹲不超过一个月，肯定能找到这样的车，说不定还能找到比我好的。

当时是一天到晚蹲craigslist，只看one-owner的车。看到一个帖子，马上查VIN，如果
是clean
title就马上打电话。
最好找个懂车的朋友帮你，懂行的砍价也容易。我这个车最初要价是4900$，最后砍到
3750的。
不要找那种开口闭口日本车，验车的时候反而连hood都不开的人。找真正开过多年车，
有经验的朋友。
