o******d 发帖数: 679 | 1 Just bought this car for 15k, OTD 17k, high tax rate here
2010 LS, base
looks good, build quality is also good, 30+ mpg on highway is decent for a 3
.5L V6. Only downside is performance is weak.
How is this price? from a dealer
(chinese imput is broken) | y*****a 发帖数: 580 | 2 in my opinion, the price is so-so, although the car is fine.
for 2010 ls brand new car, in September,
msrp: 25115 (including destination charge), invoice 24508.
rebate: 4000, loyalty/conquest rebate 1000 (in Oct-Nov, it's AARP rebate) ,
USAA 750. If you buy in Sep-Nov and in DFW, you will have another $750 auto
show cash.
24508-4000-1000-750 - 750 = 18008. If you can ask for the holdback or more,
that is 728. So for a BRAND NEW car, you can get for 17230 + ttl = 19k.
If you accumulative enough GM card points, you can get another $1500 off to
about 17.5k OTD.
In Nov 2007, I bought a 08 Impala with only $1500 rebate for only $17k OTD,
I think same tax rate of 6.25% (before ttl is about 15k), after 2k GM card
incentive. I could have used USAA (but I did not know at that time). AND
auto show cash (if a month earlier) at that time, which would knock the
price down to $15.5 OTD.
