发帖数: 769 | 3 I bought one half an year ago, 2002 se with 121k miles, and now it is
125k miles. It seems pretty good, except the gas consumption, after the
maintain, it got around 18 MPG (20 in dash) in local, before maintain,
it is 16-17 in dash, not sure what in reality . (Texas small town and
frequently short distance, around 1 mile per trip).
I changed the sparks (previous owner do not do that), changed one oxygen
sensor (the SES light was on when I bought it, but I do not familiar
with car), and clean the air filter for engine and AC. that is all the
maintain I do. No other problem detected.
By the way, the power seat, seems easy to fail, and very expensive to
repair. My power seat failed once, and I hit it with a hammer, it works
again, but it may fail again in the near future.
Good: powerful and better interior than DFBB, good audio(BOSE), large
enough
Bad:It needs 93 gas, and the maintain is a bit expensive than DFBB.
General, I think it is good, better than DFBB(The DFBB may reliable, but
the DFBB driver, at least I know, all use the cheapest gas, cheapest
oil, and never do other maintain work, and they still sell it with a
high price)

老版（04)pathfinder,这两个车的ENGINE是一样的，我的PATHFINDER很给力，很可靠，
因此我想找个SEDAN版的，但又想老版，因为04后的MAXIMA改版了，我不大喜欢那个外
形。另当时你花多少买的车？ 我想还价时有个参考。貌似MAXIMA的价钱和同年份
MILEAGE的ACCORD,和CARMY 4缸价格差不多，我还是更喜欢MAXIMA了。

SES light appeared and disappeared every two weeks, I went to Autozone to
read the code, it said the oxygen sensor has some problems. So I change it
for about 140 dollar with a private mechanic. But when I check the spark
plugs, they said it is a copper head type and have worked for 100k miles,
far away from it is lifespan (30k miles?), so I changed it to IR type
spark plugs. I think the problem may caused by the spark plugs, because
poor combustion?
I bought the car for 5200, and due to the power seat, it falls to 5000(Kbb
private fail price is 4800 to 4900 at that time).
