发帖数: 466 | 3 小孩比较小或者有老人行动不太方便的选Odyssey, 因为车身比较矮，容易上下车，除
非你在sienna加个踏板。
否则sienna内装比odyssey豪华（看起来），当然你可以两个都加很多东西让他们差距
变小。
我个人偏好Honda开起来的感觉，所以我会选odyssey. |

about Sienna.
Traverse or Enclave are good choice too. |

发帖数: 5754 | 5 just went thru the search and bought Odyssey. here are some personal
opinions for your reference--
if you want AWD, you can only get it in Sienna, or crossover SUVs (Chevy
Traverse has a much more solid build).
For FWD minivan,
a) value - Sienna > Odyssey
For similar configuration, sienna is less expensive than odyssey. For
example, you can get a basic rear-view camera for Sienna LE. But for Odyssey
, you need to buy EX-L for a build-in rear-view camera.
b) comfort - Sienna = Odyssey
sienna seems to have less road noise on cement road. odyssey seems wider.
c) drive/control - Peronal preference
sienna's steer wheel seems light, and odyssey's feels heavier. If you used
to drive an Accord, you would prefer Odyssey's feel. If you used to drive a
Toyota Camery, you will prefer Sienna.
d) safety - ?
they all ofter the same standard safety features, and upto 2010, they all
have top safety ratings. For 2011 model, Sienna has low crash testing scores
, but Odyssey is not tested yet. Although not officially recalled, earlier
Sienna may also suffers from auto-acceleration defect according to sienna
user forums. Regardless, Sienna 2011 has the brake-overwrite feature.
According to a Honda saleperson, Honda always have the brake-overwrite logic.
e) interior - Odyssey > Sienna
Odyssey has better materials (soft plastic instead of hard plastic, etc) and
better finish and touch on details. Specifically, I prefer how the 2nd row
chairs are attached to the floor in Odyssey. In Sienna, I believe there are
clefts on the floor for the sliding 2nd row chairs, which may get stuck
with falling small toys/crayons/coins, etc. |

new 5-Star Safety Ratings that provide more information about vehicle safety
and crash avoidance technologies. Because of the more stringent tests,
ratings for 2011 and newer vehicles should not be compared to ratings for
1990-2010 models"
For Toyota, frontal crash scores are lower for minivan / crossover SUV /
sedan consistently.

发帖数: 5754 | 10 Since the government agency runs the tests, I guess domestic cars enjoy a
home-field advantage.
The only domestic competitive offering in the minivan segments are GM
crossovers (Traverse & siblings). Their 2011 models are tested with 5 stars.
On the other hand, Odyssey is not tested, and Kia's 2011 minivan is not
even on the test schedule.
This will help some potential Kia / Toyota minivan buyers become GM
crossover owners -- and we all know the government has a stake in GM.
